Notebook gawked at the wall of the cabin while he ruminated about the lacking peace and quietness in a miserable place he had to stay in. Things worsened after his removal from the game especially when he discovered that he'll be stuck with the other eliminated contestants for the rest of the season, wherein he described them as blabbermouths.

Thus, it felt like torture for him to go through a day where the only sounds he can hear are continuous chit-chats from the people that are trapped with him which nearly drove him insane.

He tried to ignore the disturbance they caused, it was an infinite amount of attempts, unfortunately, he was left with no other choice but to forcibly get used to it. How hard could it possibly be to adjust himself to these new conditions? It can't be that hard!

...

"Notebook? Down to book! Are you there? Wake uuuuuup!"

A symbol constantly poked him out of his inner monologue.

Upon hearing that faint voice, notebook had come to a realization that he was murmuring his thoughts the entire time.

"What! What?!... What do you want?"

"You're doing that one thing again where you zone off and say unintelligible things."

...

"Wait, I am?"

"Yeah dude! You'd do it all the time and... I must admit that it's pretty odd."

"Oh... Yeah..."

"Anyways, me and iceberg are going to play 'stacking blocks,' do you want to join us?"

Were they unable to think of something more enjoyable than that nonsensical game?

"Uhh, no thanks."

"Okay." Question mark said, nonchalantly.

Their interruption caused his mind to wander off from his thoughts earlier which left him completely pissed. Still, he felt relieved that they're distant.

Should I even get used to this?
He asked to himself.

Considering how it hasn't been a week since his elimination, the next day could be an improvement.

...

After going through a routine of countless sulking which he underwent for the sake of his sanity, he thought to himself "damn it." All these repetitive ruminations were starting to tire him out, he'd wished he can do something new for once. Seriously, what else can he do?

He always refused to participate with those blabbermouths in their pointless shenanigans. Although, despite how foolish it seemed, their activities were amusing compared to what he did every day, a little entertainment wouldn't harm him right now...

Notebook carefully observed what they were doing, he tried to move forward to their area but there was a clear hesitation in each steps. Droplet had noticed him approaching and greeted him with sheer excitement.
