It was my first day of high school, i was rather positive about starting a new school, new people, new teachers. It either gets better or everything goes even more down hill (if thats even possible).
I walked through the school door with my "friend". We werent really close but we happened to arrive at the gates at the same time so here we are. She knew her way around quite a bit so we didnt have much of a problem finding the auditorium where we were all meant to meet for an assembly. The second i saw the amount of people in that room was the second my anxiety hit. Well i guess im not becoming a new person this year, oh well. Next year will be my year, i feel it.
I didnt really have any real friends in primary school so I just kind of hung around them anyways just to not seem like a complete loner to the other people in there as we were waiting for everyone to arrive before we start the assembly.
After most arrived it started. We put our bags on random chairs before to sit beside your friends but of course I found mine on the floor. Honestly I wanst suprised. I was known as the weird shy kid all along primary school. No matter how much I got bullied or picked on, I'd never say anything. Do I regret not saying anything about it? Yes. Am i going to change anything this year? Absolutely not.
I finally found a spare chair beside my friend, Gracie. We werent really close but we did talk sometimes so it wasnt too awkard. On the other side of me there was another girl, she was from a different school so I didnt know her. Oh little did I know then that this was the start of something that I will never be able to forget. No matter how much I wanted to i rememembered it all too well.
