Chapter 2 - Naomi

Naomi couldn't help sucking in a breath when the glittery Foxfire campus came into view. She was always breathless when she saw the enormous campus.

Naomi took Hope's hand, and Naomi ran inside Foxfire, excited to see her friends.

Hope blew a breath as they put on their thinking caps. "I'm nervous." she admitted.

"Yeah. I can tell." Naomi said sarcastically, fanning away Hope's strong emotions, just like her dad did.

Naomi checked her schedule for the exams today. She had Alchemy first. This was going to be easy.

"Hi!" Someone said, rushing in a pulling Naomi and Hope into a hug.

Naomi laughed. "Hi Marylin!" 

Marylin had strawberry long hair, and dazzling teal eyes, just like her mom and dad, Biana and Dex Vacker. 

"Are you ready for level 3 midterms?" She asked them.

"I guess." Hope mumbled, tugging on her foxfire cape.

Marylin sighed. "You do this every year. You'll be fine! You haven't failed yet, right?" 

Hope looked at the floor. "Barely."

Before Marylin could reply, Magnete Leto, the school's principal, clapped his hands to get everyone's attention.

"Everyone ready for midterms?" He asked, and several people groaned.

Magnete Leto ignored everyone's response. "Good luck! Remember, keep your thinking caps on or else you will immediatly fail all of your tests if we don't see it on, unless we give you permission. You're dissmissed, have fun!" 

Naomi took a deep breath. She can do this. And Naomi set out for her first test of the day.

I'm so sorry for not posting last week! We went on a trip, and I didn't have time to write the next chapter, so I will be posting more chapters this week. I hope.
