[Part two of the filler..]

———

Y/n stared at her phone in shock. She only tweeted that like two minutes ago, and she had found the boy she was oogling over who just so happens to be her future photoshoot buddy.

Frozen in her chair, Y/n turned off her phone. Looking around from her booth, which was near her car at the starting line, she went for another hunt for the boy.

Her hunt cut short, again, by the announcer finally making an appearance. "Ladies and gentlemen! If you aren't aware, I'm Takashi Hyuga, your host for today's race!" He yells into the mic with a gleeful voice.

Takashi was situated in a small little hut, called 'the box' at the side of the track with a fence to protect him. There was a camera at all times focusing on the box for whenever Takashi talked, so not being able to be seen wasn't a problem.

"If you also weren't aware, we have an important guest with us.. Can you guess who?" Suddenly, the song 'Heaven and Back' from Chase Atlantic plays, "It's Itoshi Sae!" Takashi says, holding the 'e' as long as he can while Sae takes a seat.

The crowd went wild. So did Y/n, but not the good kind. Her manager, Haru, seemed to also go crazy. He started waving his hands all over the place.

(Yes, I finally named the manager.)

Y/n, thinking he had drank a beer or two again, asks, "Are you okay..?" In a suspectful tone.

She hasn't gotten an answer since Takashi had told the racers to take their place, which means get in their cars.

Doing per request, Y/n gets her helmet that was designed with an intercom inside with her on the way to her car.

Taking a small glance to the box to take a good look at Sae. To her surprise, he was already looking at her.

Being the fearless loser she was, Y/n kept staring at him, which only lasted until she reached her car.

Her car was rigged with cameras for the viewers to see her drive. What was the reason for that? I don't know. You don't really need to be seen driving.

Whipping her phone out, Y/n plays her playlist. The song 'Fantasize' by Ariana Grande came on. Since this was her favorite song, Y/n decided to keep her helmet off. Which, to remind you, has intercoms for her and Haru to speak directly to each other.

Finally, all the racers are in their respective cars. Everyone was waiting for the countdown.

Three.
Y/n turns the volume of her music up.

Two.
She prepared to press the gas pedal with all her might.

One.
Her foot collides with the pedal, taking first place as always. "A strong start! As we see here, Turbo takes the lead!" Takashi narrates.

Deciding to play with her opponents, Y/n falls back two cars behind. She aimed to give false hope.

As Takashi was paid to do, he started to blab into the mic, "It seems like the Turbo Flash is falling behind?!" He yaps with a tone of disbelief, "This means the racers 'Purple Streak' and 'Cheetah Print' are ahead!"

Y/n, just vibing to the music, now pressed onto the gas pedal fully as her and her fellow racers came closer to the 's' shaped curve.

Turning the steering wheel to the left, drifting. She overcame second place, 'Cheetah Print'. She switched the directions of her wheel to the right. Her car leaves tire marks on the road, overtaking the number one spot from Purple Streak.

"Turbo Flash comes with a clutch at the 's' curves! Now she's at the lead! As she should, to be honest. The youngest racer ever is making a name for herself!" Takashi spoke the truth.

With a smile, Y/n continues her path to her victory. The bopping of her head along to the song stops when she notices the song is about to end, which isn't a big deal when her playlist is filled with good songs. But it was her favorite song.

Although the song ended, a new catchy one started playing. '3D' by Jungkook.

"Let's see what she's thinking in that big head of hers!" He suddenly says, now the big screen switches to Y/n without her helmet listening to jams, "Oh!"

He freezes for a bit, "Um! It seems like she's just listening to music.." his voice showed his confusion since most racers would get in trouble not wearing a helmet.

"Maybe she's just that good?" Sae spoke up.

"Ah, yes, yes! Of course she is!" Takashi finally finds his voice back, "Let's see what the other drivers are up to now, afterall they are behind our racing prodigy!"

As the big screen focused on different drivers camera's, the only thing Sae was focusing on was Y/n's red and white car
