You pulled on your boots, dusting off the dirt and bark that had been collected while you were jumping around in the trees earlier. You were currently standing outside the Marauder, backpack equipped, helmet in hand, waiting for Tech to grab a few more things before you headed to the nearby outpost.

It was late afternoon, and you knew you'd probably be back after dark but that would be alright. The clearing this time was much closer, so the walk wouldn't be as long and you already knew you were only getting expendable supplies such as fuel and food. This will be a short trip.

As you stood there you could feel the flow of the force through the trees around you, a constant calming presence that you had deeply missed. You didn't realize how dark and weighed down Coruscant had been until you were back here. Even if this was a smugglers hideout, this place was much healthier and peaceful.

While you were standing there looking up to the trees, you heard footsteps and turned to see Hunter descending the walkway.

"Enjoying the forest?" he asked walking up next to you "Tech should be out in another minute".

"Okay, and yes it's nice to be back here" you returned your gaze to the trees as a breeze made its way through camp. You could just see the clouds overhead, you might have some weather on the way there.

"Y/N" Hunter said bringing your attention back to him "do you plan on leaving us?"

You felt a little surprised by Hunter's question and you knew it showed on your face "I mean, no. I hadn't planned on anything yet. Did I need to?"

"No. I just know that your goals will differ from ours."-he turns his gaze with you up to the trees-"you may be called somewhere".

"I'll let you know if that happens" you smile "you're still my captain".

Hunter chuckles in response.

"Hunter" you ask, seeing Tech coming out of the ship from the corner of your eye, "when I told you all I was a Jedi you didn't seem as surprised".

Hunter raised an eyebrow and looked to you thoughtfully "I knew there was something different about you. I guess it just made sense".

"Oh" you reply and Tech butts in "Hunter's enhanced senses cause him to be capable of feeling electromagnetic waves. It is theoretically possible he could also sense force manipulations".

Hunter shrugged "maybe"-then he patted your shoulder--"I just thought your presence was captivating". He nodded to Tech and made his way back up into the Marauder. You could feel your cheeks burn slightly and Tech adjusted his backpack indicating he wanted to get going.

"There will be rain shortly, it will not be too heavy from my calculations but we should proceed quickly".

You slip on your helmet, as does Tech and the two of you set off in his chosen direction towards the outpost.

You and Tech were walking briskly through the forest as the rain fell lightly around you. The path you and Echo had taken previously had some hills but this path seemed fairly even and straight. There were still plenty of branches and large tree roots to step over but you were making good time towards your destination.

You had already made it a good distance from camp, following Tech's guide, when he broke the silence.

"I noticed you have opened the box retrieved from David's ship engine" he commented.

"Yes, plenty of memories, not sure any of it is useful" you reply following him around a stump.

"I didn't mean to intrude but I observed a ring present in his belongings." Tech seemed to be phrasing his statement like a question and he had stopped to look at you through his goggles.
