I powered up my computer and a notification appeared on the screen. Curious, I clicked on it, only to be startled by the appearance of a purple bear-like creature.
"Hello there, new intern!" it exclaimed cheerfully.
I couldn't help but chuckle at the unexpected interaction.
"Welcome to NASA! A place that brings excitement and adventure! I'm your trusty mascot, Beep Boop, and I'm here to be your guide for the day. First things first, please check the drawer beneath your desk. You should find a blue and silver box inside. If you don't, please contact the number shown on the screen."
I opened the drawer curiously. Inside lay a book containing my schedule for the day. I flipped through its pages. Lets see.. "Make an essay about what you want to accomplish here." Well, that seemed straightforward enough, I thought to myself.
I settled in, preparing to write the essay. Three hours later, I finally completed the essay. Looking at the clock, I realised it was already lunchtime. I quickly sent it and decided it was time to explore the huge building.
As I went through the hallway, holding a poorly folded burrito in my hand, my gaze fixed on the sign indicating "Hallway 32." Suddenly, a beam of light caught my attention, drawing my gaze towards a nearby room. there stood Dr. Silvia Cracker. The most famous nasa scientist in the present. I stared at her for a while when a man in his 30s approached me.
"Hey you! what are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here. Cant you read?" He said, in a cold deep voice pointing to a sign.
I quickly apologised and walked away. Glancing at my watch, I realised that half an hour had slipped by, and I hadn't accomplished much beyond finding trouble. Deciding to call it a day for exploration, I headed towards the exit of the hallway only to realise i was lost!
Theres so many hallways! Hallway 4, Hallway 28, Hallway 43... Where should i go? I stood there puzzled for a few minutes when i saw a tall woman walk by me. I showed her my id card and asked if she knew where i need to go. With a friendly smile, she pointed to a hallway. I thanked her and went through the hallway. eventually i reached my office.
I settled down and took a look at whats next on the agenda. To my surprise everything got cancelled. Just then a co worker approached me. Could you get everyone some coffee? 2 frappes, 1 black coffee and 8 cappuccinos.
What is this? a cliché movie?..
