Morona McCallister

I was in bed, in agony.

It felt like my insides were being torn apart.

I woke up earlier, with just a few hours to prepare to meet his family.

I thought I was excited, but the nerves took over.

I hadn't even styled my hair or put on makeup, and I couldn't decide what to wear.

Laina had left early without hearing anything last night. Thank God.

Now, I'm seated on the bed, leaning against the headboard.

Ermanno had gone to the kitchen, and when he returned with a glass of water, I was overcome with fatigue.

My chest ached slightly, and he placed the water on the nightstand beside me before sitting at the edge of the bed near my feet, gently caressing my legs.

I flinched when he touched me, feeling every movement hurt.

"How are you feeling?" He inquired.

"Sore," I responded.

He chuckled, saying, "I'll be more gentle next time."

"Lie down," he instructed.

"Why?" I questioned.

"Just lie down," he insisted, and I complied.

Gritting my lip in discomfort, I shifted onto the bed with his help supporting my waist.

Moving my legs caused only minimal pain.

As I lay down, he lifted my long shirt, revealing only a lace thong.

He fetched some lotion or cream, applying it to his hands before sitting in front of me and massaging my thighs.

Initially, the pressure hurt, but as he continued, it eased.

After the thigh massage, he kissed my stomach and rose, remarking, "It may help you move, but there will still be discomfort."

"Okay, thank you," I mumbled, sipping the water he handed me before he resettled beside me.

"When are we leaving?" I inquired.

"6pm," he answered.

Glancing at the clock, I noted it was only 1pm, plenty of time left.

He checked the time too and smirked.

"Ermanno," I warned, sensing his thoughts, though I yearned for it as well.

Can you blame me?

He'd been absent for so long, and I craved for him badly.

Slowly rising to my knees on the bed, I faced him as he sat down.
