A few moments later, Sinbad, Jim, Anya, and Amatarasu appeared. Amatarasu tackled John, her eyes glowed red with anger.
"How could you lose her?!" She growled. Anya suddenly stood between them, stopping her from killing John.
"Stop mother," Anya said, "let him explain." Amatarasu sighed and nodded. John got up and brushed himself off before explaining what happened.
"She ran off into the woods to go catch something for dinner but she never came back." John sighed. "I would never hurt my wife or lose her on purpose. I love her with all my being." Anataseru's eyes turned back to normal as she gave John a hug.
"I'm sorry," she said.
"Its okay." John hugged back and pulled away.
"Where could've she have gone father?" Jim asked. Fenrir thought for a moment before speaking.
"I feel her mind might not be intact. Jim and Sinbad, you come with me and John. Amatarasu and Anya, stay here and watch Lia." They all nodded and the boys make their way into the woods. Fenrir used his keen hearing and sense of smell to help them navigate and locate BlackWolf through the woods. As they continued to walk, they came across a dead deer's carcass. Fenrir knelt down and smelled the aroma of the body to determine how long it's been there.
"It's only been a few hours and the body is still fresh," Fenrir said, "she can't be that far. They continue to walk until a den comes into few. Her scent was getting strong and Fenrir knew they were getting close to finding his daughter. John felt guilty for letting her go off into the woods to hunt by herself and Fenrir could feel his mind racing.
"Don't worry my friend," Fenrir assured, "we'll find her."
Fenrir suddenly stopped as his keen hearing suddenly picked up movement. They looked in the direction of the noise and saw a familiar looking white she-wolf drinking from a small creek. Fenrir signal the others to be slients as they watched.
"So what's the plan father?" Jim asked. Fenrir thinks. John watches his wife drinking and debates if he should try.
"Whatever you wanna do, John," Fenrir quietly said, "just make sure it doesn't get you killed."
"Ya i know"
