LUCK WASN'T ON SOFIA'S SIDE because the next class she had was with Ares, Mason and Maria for their group project continuing. Sofia was looking for somewhere to sit, when she noticed Maria and Mason secretly calling her over but she kept her head down and sat on the other end of the class.

 "Okay, good afternoon everyone. Today we will be continuing with our presentations and presenting them on Monday." The class groans while they open their laptops and move to their groups, Sofia's hands begin to get all sweaty but she wipes them on her jumper. Maria sat on her left and Ares sat on her right.

"Mr Gilmore already knows we're done. So what do you all wanna do?" Maria eyes Sofia but Sofia keeps her head down, picking at her nails "Sofia, don't act like we aren't here" Ares snaps 

"one way to do it. But hes right, i mean what happened? One day we're friends and the next day we aren't" Maria confesses.

Not wanting to hurt them anymore Sofia stands up, saying she needs to use the bathroom. "You can go and there's no need for you to ask, just help yourself" Sofia nods a little confused with the laid back rules. Ares also got up right after Sofia had left and followed behind her, ignoring his teacher as he yelled for him to come back.

Sofia didn't even know where she was going but as long as she wasn't in the class she was okay. As Sofia was walking she accidentally ran into someone causing her to stumble over "Sofia?" Enzo helps Sofia to her feet, "Sofia! Sofia!?" Are's faint calls were getting louder. Enzo was confused, Sofia held her finger to her lips.

Enzo notices what was happening and pushes Sofia in the Janitor's closet. "Why are you calling for my sister?" Enzo clenches his jaw "none of your business" Ares tries to walk away but Enzo stops him "you and your friends need to back off"

"Or what?" Ares scoffs and walks back to class. "Thanks" she mutters "if they bug you come straight to me" Sofia furrowed her eyebrows but nodded.

"Took you long enough miss.marchetti" her teacher complains, Sofia doesn't respond to him and just packs her things. "Sofia what are you doing" Mason whisper yells but Sofia was in her own world.

"Questa ragazza mi sta facendo impazzire" (this girl is driving me crazy) Ares mutters, he didn't know where Sofia stood in his emotions but he knew he didn't see her as a friend. He sees her as something more...

"Sofia, stop" Ares grabs her hand and sits her down so she faces him. "Why are you crying amare?" he moves a loose strand of hair behind her ear. Maria knew to let Ares talk to her so she grabbed Mason to move back to their original seats. 

The entire class watched them some in awe, some confused how soft Ares was and others envying Sofia. Sofia took notice of this and moved Ares's hand, it was almost lunch so the class began to put their things away without paying too much attention to the two anymore. "Meet us behind the sports shed" he looks at Sofia for some kind of nod or anything but Sofia just stood up and left.

He knew it had something to do with her brothers but he didn't wanna pressure her and just hoped she'd come see them after school.
