Fun Facts About the Making of this Story (And how I found this Fandom)

The chapter "Making Bad Decisions at Night" was inspired by the Faline San video "making bad decisions at night," which I put above. Arc putting his feet in hot water to fix his cankles was something Faline San did. Arc making hot chocolate with expired milk was something Faline San did, too. Arc using a Taurus cup and his quote, "As a Taurus, like me, do you can withstand the heat of a microwave?" was, again, something Faline San did. And Say telling him to put more chocolate milk powder was something Faline San and their brother did. I kept going back to the video to make sure I was doing it right.

The chapters "I'm Not an Act" and "I care" was supposed to be later in the series, while "Return" and "For You, a Cat Lover~" was supposed to be earlier in the series.

Novo and Ray weren't supposed to have redemption arcs.

This story is called "Chaos in Black and White" because of the song "Black and White," the monochrome gang, and all the other black and white characters. It was originally gonna be fluff, memes, funny stuff, and headcanons, I did not intend on having this much angst.

The chapter "Give In" was inspired by the only good Say and Arc fic I found on Ao3, I didn't mention it because I don't want you guys finding the cursed GHOST and pals stuff on there.

The title of "For You, a Cat Lover~" was inspired by one of the lyrics in "Rotten Girl, Grotesque Romance." Adres being alone and mumbling, "Love me." was inspired by the lyric."Through his wall, I mumbled alone 'Love me.'"

I was extremely surprised to get views, votes, and followers because my first fics rarely got seen.

The first GHOST and Pals song I ever heard was Candle Queen because of gacha music videos and two Cookie Run animations. When I was into Cookie Run, I watched animation memes, that's how I saw the "Radio" meme. I didn't believe the song was "Housewife Radio" because the first time I heard "Housewife Radio" it was a male cover on a video called "Creepypasta theme songs". When I saw "Trypophobia" meme, I thought it was a girl singing in another language. The first actual video of GHOST's was "Appetite of a People Pleaser". I watched it because I found it on a Cookie Run playlist for Clotted Cream and I couldn't understand the lyrics so I looked it up.

I'm getting tarot cards and pyrite all because of To Hell and Back, Aura, and Pyrite Girl.

Maika's story about her and her cousin was inspired by GYLT. Sally, who appeared in the first chapter, was a Creepypasta reference. Oliver's quote "Tails family, the Pasta's, and the Aftons can't afford this." was a Sonic, Creepypasta, and FNAF reference. Luna's quote "And the Hager and Vocaloid kids would only go on big rides." was a reference to Vocaloid and my oc's, the Hagers. Greta is from "A House for Alesa." Sally's quote "They were scared they would see an alternate." is Mandela Cataloge reference, same with "Mandela Portwood" and Gabriel. Benry, Dr. Coomer, Bubby, and Gordon are from Half-Life VR, but the AI is self-aware. Black Mesa is another Half-Life VR but the AI is self-aware reference.

Henry was supposed to return in the chapter "Human".

It was a normal morning. I started yelling, Adam and Caleb joined me. Mariyam and Diane shot up in their beds. Mariyam threw a pillow at me.
"Hey!" I yelled.
Mariyam glared at me. I rolled my eyes. She's so annoying. We all walked downstairs. We showered and put on our uniforms. I ran to the cafeteria. I saw Cakey and Slurpee. Cakey was holding onto Slurpee for dear life.

Lilia stared at the mansion in front of her. It looked like it had been abandoned for years. How could an old man be comfortable living here? Lilia walked inside her new house. The place was even worse inside. Pill bottles were scattered across tables, the wallpaper was falling off, it smelled horrible, and it had a eerie presence. She couldn't shake off the feeling that she was being watched. As Lilia wondered around the mansion, she found a tape and an old TV. She put the tape in the TV. It showed a pale man dancing with a woman who looked like Lilia. It switched to a man with multiple arms dancing with a pale woman who looked like the pale man. It switched again, this time showing a woman with white hair with one black stripe dancing with a man with a moth and crucifix necklace. It switched to the pale man holding the pregnant stomach of the woman who looked like Lilia. It showed a teenage girl holding a baby next to two younger children. It showed the man with multiple arms choking on poison. It switched to the pale woman laying on the floor with her heart next to her. It showed the man with the necklaces being cut open. It showed a candle and two dolls that looked like the young children. It showed the white haired woman's head in an oven. It showed the pale man stabbing the woman who looked like Lilia. It showed one the children growing up. Lilia realized that child was her great-grandfather, whom she inherited the mansion from.

It was a normal day, Ash was talking to their friend Trinity on the phone. Suddenly, they heard yelling from outside, followed by confused muttering. Someone knocked on the door. Ash walked over and opened the door. Outside, there was a woman who looked like an old housewife. Behind her were a bunch of other people, some of them didn't look human.
"I apologize, but do you know how we got here?" Said the woman.
Ash shook their head.

Whisper, Hazel, Jordan, Felix, Candy, Boon, Elise, and Ila hopped on the bus. Whisper saw Say and Arc. She hopped into the seat next to them.
"Sup, guys!" Whisper exclaimed.
"Hey! Hey! Hey!" Arc exclaimed, scooting closer to Whisper and squishing Say.
"Guys, you're squishing me!" Say yelled.
"Shut up." Said Arc, who was practically in Say's lap.
Say scooted towards the window. Arc and Whisper talked for the entire bus ride.

"You smell delicious!" The boy exclaimed.
"Excuse me, what?" Said Sunny.
"Arc, what the freak!" A brown haired person called.
Sunny watched as the two argued.
The boy turned to a pair of almost identical twins, the only difference being that one was a girl and the other was a boy.
"Len!" The boy with bandages yelled, running to the twins.
"Arc, no!" The brown haired person yelled, running after the boy.
Sunny shook his head. It appeared he wouldn't be going to a normal school.
