Lunas POV:

Have you ever felt out of place; Like you don't belong in the world you are in even though you are surrounded by an endless sea of people? That Is me Existing day by day wearing a mask. My name is Luna Castro I am 17 and Highschool Junior. Today is my first day at a new school thanks to my family moving. Currently I am getting ready staring at myself in the mirror of my bedroom. My thoughts are interrupted by the sound of my mother calling my name from the kitchen. I sigh heavily before grabbing my black leather jacket and head downstairs and into the kitchen. The smell of eggs, bacon, and pancakes invades my sense of smell.

"Morning Mom." I greet her with as much pep as I can while pretending to smile.

"Good morning, Luna, eat something before you head out to school, I made extra knowing you have a long day ahead of you."

"No thanks mom not that hungry." As I finish that sentence, she glares at me, so I sigh heavily and grab a few pieces of bacon and quickly head to the door exiting quickly. "Bye." I say closing the door behind me, I hear her calling out to be but it's already too late. As bad as I felt for ignoring her, I wanted to avoid another lecture about my health and diet. The school I will be attending is not that far from my house, I've passed it a few times while running around the neighborhood since we arrived here. I. Getting lost in my own world makes the walk seem even shorter before I know it, I have arrived. Currently on the sidewalk of the parking lot I glance around at the students, many of them in their own groups and walking towards the building. I deicide to follow suit rather than trying to interact so I take a couple of steps off the pavement when this idiot on a motorcycle speed passed me practically running me over as they head into a parking space. I walk over to the person as they are shutting off and immediately begin to yell at them for being so reckless.

"You know it's a school zone and there are people walking the least you could do is be a little considerate of your surroundings and where you are going you almost hit me!"

The person on the bike is still wearing their helmet turned to face me during my rant but still didn't say anything even after I was done. After a few moments they finally removed their helmet to reveal a woman with raven black hair and the deepest shade of hazel green eyes I have ever seen. Everything about her facial features was truly beautiful even the complexion of her tan skin was enough to draw someone in, that aside I was so annoyed that I had not realized that she was a woman when I first approached. Her voice was arrogant and calm as she got off her bike.

"Well maybe you should steer clear of parking lots if you don't know how to walk, it can be very dangerous."

She looked at me from head-to-toe smirking, I opened my mouth to respond back but nothing came out. I was left completely speechless it wasn't her words that left me stunned but this woman overall, the way she presented herself, her aura, her smirk, and those deep green eyes that I was now completely lost in. She walked past me without me realizing it. What had awakened me from my trance was the sound of the school bell warning students that classes would be starting soon. So, I rush into the building's office to get my schedule. After receiving it the lady working in the front office guided me to my first class where she introduced me to the teacher then left. The teacher then introduces me to the rest of the class and instructs me to sit next to a student by the name of Victoria, I scan the classroom quickly looking for her however my attention was quickly captured by none other than the girl on the motorcycle, our eyes lock instantly, it feels like she is staring into my soul, crumbling away each later rapidly. Yet again I am stuck in her trance I force myself to pull away from her gaze to scan the classroom again and notice that the only seat that was available was the one next to her. I sighed dreading the fact that I would have to be in her direct presence once more against my will and began to walk down the aisle mentally I cursed myself with each step I took getting closer to her. I could feel her eyes on me the entire way but kept my eyes focused on the desk rather than her. I stopped once I was next to the desk and immediately noticed her legs stretched out and her feet on my chair.
