Julie Solance was always there. She knew lots about everyone and everything going on around town, no doubt about that.

She had moved the year prior, in 1977, clicking with a few popular people which instantly made her known around her school. Julie was one to talk and know, so she wasn't surprised when people had talked bad about her, but she was never one to talk about someone unless you really deserved it. Mainly bully's of some sort.

Julie never found the ideal way to go about your day to physically hurt someone and bully them with words and emotions, it didn't sit right with her.

But what did surprise her was when she was called something so surprising.

A faggot.

She had remembered the day that she had been walking down the hall by herself, passing some people she had known the names of but never talked to, passing and bumping a shoulder with something.

Suddenly she heard a girl speak something.

"Watch where you're going, faggot."

Julie had paused in her spot, turning around, and replying to the girl.

"Excuse you?" The girl was angered by the insult, taking matters into her own hands.

"I said, watch where your going. Faggot," The strange girl turned around, revealing it to be Sheila.

Julie had snapped. She punched Sheila, a bit too hard for anyone's liking, but enough for Julie's liking, making her fall to the ground and now have a broken nose.

"Watch your fucking mouth." The girl cussed. Students had gathered around, seeing the cause that Julie had did.

Julie looked up, seeing a teacher now heading her way. She looked around meeting someone's eyes.

Ziggy Berman.

It was cut short by the teacher interrupting the big circle, taking Julie towards the principals office.

Julie wasn't gonna have anyone call her a slur, knowing well that she was in fact gay.

Ziggy looked at Sheila, in shock of what the girl had did, wondering what fully caused it.

That caused Ziggy to become greedy of knowing her, not knowing that Julie already had the same idea in mind.
