Upon entering the ER, Zishu quickly assessed the patient's condition and recognized the urgency of their internal bleeding. Without wasting any time, he assisted the medical team in stabilizing the patient and ordered an immediate operation to prevent the blood from entering the brain.

Hours passed by, and the operation went smoothly. Zishu took a deep breath in relief and he walked out of the operating room to let the family know about the patient's conditions.

The weight of the responsibility he had just shouldered temporarily lifted from his shoulders. However, as his eyes scanned the waiting area, he noticed Hanying sitting outside alone, curiosity piqued inside him as he didn't see Wen Kexing the fact that the man was there when he entered the ER about an hour ago, before Hanying could greet him then patients family appeared, worried visible on their faces. He smiled reassuringly to them saying the patient's conditions are stable and nothing lethal will happen, saying the patient's will deliver to the ward in a few minutes. The family thanked him and he smiled looking at the retreating back.

Hanying noticed Zhou Zishu emerging from the operating room with a sense of relief, after Zishu talked to the family, he stood up and greeted Zishu who reciprocated.

Zishu's eyes instinctively scanned the area, wondering where his colleague, Wen Kexing, had disappeared to. As Hanying noticed Zishu's beauty wearing hospital robes, he couldn't help but be awed by the doctor's stunning appearance, his beauty and a constant source of admiration.

Zishu approached Hanying, a small smile playing on his lips. "Detective Han, how are you holding up?" he asked, taking a moment amidst the chaos of the ER.

Hanying returned the smile, his eyes still filled with a hint of enchantment. "Doctor Zhou, I'm alright. Just a bit tired from the constant case, anyway how's the patient's?"

"He's stable now, nothing to worry about."

"Thank you Doctor Zhou."

Before Zishu could respond, another doctor arrived, called out to him. "Zishu, are you done? can you come here for a moment? I need to show you something."

Zishu nodded at Hanying and excused himself, curious to see what Beiyuan wanted to discuss. He followed Beiyuan's voice and turned around to find Kexing walking towards them, seeing that cold eyes sent shivers on him he quickly discard that thought and went to Beiyuan.

Wen Kexing saw Zhou Zishu talking to another doctor intimately, he didn't know what kind of feeling he felt that he shouldn't, since it's inappropriate to feel that way. He can't understand himself anymore feeling it for the first time in his life.

"Yo! Detective Wen where did you go?"

"Outside." Hanying raised his brows,

"The victim is stable now, we should go back and make a report. We need to investigate the crime scene and check on the cctv footage for further information." Both went out talking about the information of the victim.

"Calling the Crime investigation team prepared the tools and were going to investigate the apartment case. Detective Wen and Detective Han it will be your next case as I know you two can solve this in a spun ."

Once the chief announced the new case, the crime department became abuzz with heightened activity. Detectives Hanying and Kexing were specifically chosen by the chief to handle the investigation, as they were renowned for their exceptional skills and criminal profiling.

As they prepared to tackle the tragic apartment case, Hanying and Kexing gathered the necessary tools and equipment needed to thoroughly examine the crime scene. They meticulously checked their inventory, ensuring they had all the essential items. Among the tools they gathered were a state-of-the-art fingerprint scanner and a sprayer to detect any possible footprints left by the culprit.
