It was late ten in the evening, and Lian got home from his office. He was tired and sleepy. But he can't sleep yet cause he still has to work on his papers for tomorrow's meeting. He was getting ready to sit at his work table after brewing some coffee. When he just heard a doorbell.

"Who's coming here at this hour? I didn't even order food" he put down his coffee and left his room to go to the door.

Hesitantly open it. And it surprised him. "Yi?" he looked away as he felt awkward to see his face.

Yi on the other hand, is with his big luggage. Trying to look cool in front of Lian. "Hi!"

Lian composed himself and looked bored on him. "What are you doing here? You just came home. You just came back to Thailand?" Yi scratched his head. Tried to smile at him but Lian gave him a nonchalant look.

"Yeah, uhm can you let me in so I can fill you in?" Yi told him but Lian was hesitant to let him in in a few seconds he gave up and he led him inside his house.

Yi put aside his luggage and he sat comfortly on his friend's couch.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Lian didn't want to beat the bush to him and straightly asked him.

"Lian about last week---"

"I know were both drunk---"

"We're not drunk. You know and I know what we did that night"

Lian was stunned for a bit and he felt a little ashamed whenever he remembered what happened that night.

"If that's the only thing you want to talk about. You shouldn't fly here in New York. You can just text or call me" he felt bad that he knew Yi only traveled here for that.

But Yi shook his head. "We kissed. You asked me to kiss you. Didn't you feel any something of it?" he stare at Lian who was trying to get his shit together. He doesn't want to remember that.

"What do you want me to feel about that?" he raised his voice.

"Since we kissed that night. It didn't leave my mind. I always think about that. Even after I go back to Thailand. I'm still thinking about it. That's why I came here"

His confusion rose and he couldn't understand what was Yi trying to say to him.

"What do you want?" Yi stood up and walked towards Lian where he was sitting. He bends over and leans his face. He curved a smile on his face.

"Should we hook up?" Lian pushed him a little far away from him.

"Like sleeping with you? Have you gone nuts?" He can't believe his friends for long years would ask this stupid question to him.

"I understand. I know this is a stupid idea. I mean we're both single and we came from the same situation. I thought we could help each other by that"

"I can help you with anything but not like this. Were friends, Yi. What happened that night stays only that night" he refused. Yi slowly nodded as he understand what kind of bullshit he just proposes to Lian.

"Okay, I know things were blurry at this moment. I guess it's so wrong to ask you about that. Were friends for a long time. I saw you doing your stuff with your ex-fiancé and you also saw how I manage Diao. I mean we were Lian and Yi. We were that way. I should've forgotten what happened" Lian nodded at him.

"Friends don't do that" he tried to give him a little message to him.

"So uhm I hope things settled for both of us. So can I stay here for a couple of days? I'll just book a flight immediately" Yi slightly felt embarrassed about what just happened earlier with him and Lian. "I shouldn't have asked that to you"

"No worries, I'll go back to my room now. You already know the spare room right? Suits yourself" He turns his back to him and walks towards his room. He locked the door and he went back to his work. Tried to act normal as if nothing happened but he would be a hypocrite if he did not admit that thing happened earlier. He will be going to think about it just like how he processed that night he kissed Yi.

Morning came, Yi woke up early and he started his mini-daily routine every day. After he showered and dressed. He goes to Lian's kitchen and he look for something to cook. He only saw a tray of eggs and aside from that there was nothing he could eat in his fridge. He decided to cook a couple of eggs to make an omelet. He also saw wheat bread on the table. After he cooks for a couple of minutes. He dives into his cooked omelet and eats it with bread. After his stomach already filled in. He cleaned up his mess and he left the other omelet for Lian to eat when he woke up later. He also left a note on it. Then he left his house to go jogging for a bit and he will soon buy goods for Lian's fridge.

A couple of hours later, Lian finally woke up. He still felt sleepy from doing all-nighters on his papers. When he got out of his room he unknowingly went to the spare room where Yi is staying.

"Where is he?" he realized that he wasn't in his room and he wasn't even in the house too. He shrugged as he was about to go to his kitchen to eat some breakfast. When he noticed some plates on his table. When he reached it he saw a note on it.

"Eat your breakfast, Mr. Lian Kilen Wang. I'll be out for the whole day"

Lian stinkly smiled and he later realized he's been smiling at his note for a while. He slapped himself for being out of himself. Then he dives to his breakfast.
