POV - Camryn

All five of us filed out of Brad's van tired and annoyed with each other. Robby and I sat down on the porch of Brad's cabin. Robby put on his dark reddish flannel over his dark grey shirt and black jeans, then pulled out a cigarette and started smoking it.

"That was officially the shittiest travesty of a car ride that I've ever had the misfortune of being a part of. Why didn't Mr. Bron over here tell us it would be four and a half hours?" Robby complained.

"I agree. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if I did't have to sit in the back with Jason and Kylie. They were making out and grabbing each other the WHOLE TIME. It was so awkward."

"At least you didn't have to sit by Ashley the whole time. She was bad-mouthing literally everyone from our school. I would've preferred to sit next to Brad..Or maybe on top of him," He said raising his eyebrows.

"Oh gosh, please don't put that image in my head. Better not let Ashley hear you talking like that."

"Who cares. The only reason I talk to her is because she's rich anyways," he said.

"Quit flirting, we're all going for a dip in the lake!!" Brad called to us.

"You going?" I asked Robby.

"If you're asking if I want to be judged by everyone for not having the perfect body and for being to 'negative all the time' according to Ashley, then no I would prefer not to."

"Come on, let's go inside."

Robby and I went into Brad's cabin and decided to just talk about everything and what life would be like after summer.

Jason came in pulling Kylie by the hand both giggling.

"Come on let's go !!" Jason said still laughing.

"Right now? But what if they see us?"

"Who cares?"

Jason picked up Kylie and carried her into the bedroom.

"I guess we know where that situation is going," Robby said.

Brad and Ashley walked in through the sliding glass doors.

"You guys are lame. Ditching all the fun to come in here and just talk. Why can't you just like all the things I like?!" complained Ashley.

"I'm very apologetic madame. I'll get right on that," Robby responded sarcastically.

"Uughh whatever."

Ashley stormed off into one of the bedrooms and slammed the door. She HATED when Robby did that. But she needs to understand that the princess can't always get her way.

"Sorry about that guys. She's just pissy because I didn't want to move to Santa Barbara with her after summer. We're gonna head off to bed," Brad said apologetically.

"Yeah, us too," Robby responded.

Everyone left the common room and split up into whichever bedroom was theirs and the seemingly normal night of terror was about to begin.
