INTRODUCTION!

SYDNEY WILCOX wanted to be just like her mom, Sloane Wilcox. Sloane was one of the best female pilots at the Galaxy Garrison and even became a commander before she retired and started a family. Growing up, Sydney thought that being a pilot seemed like the coolest thing ever. But because of who her mom is that meant people had expectations set for her. They expected she would be the best female pilot of her class. And she is, but it was overwhelming and stressful at times trying to continue to be the best and not disappoint everyone.

Thankfully she doesn't have to go through her journey at The Galaxy Garrison alone. She knows if otherwise she would've gone insane. She has her best friend Lance McClain by her side. Sydney Wilcox and Lance McClain's friendship goes way back, and their bond has been unbreakable ever since. Though it may come off as a surprise to others due to how different the two are from each other. With Lance and his charming, flirtatious and playful attitude, and Sydney with her sarcastic, reserved, and sometimes sassy attitude seem like a pair that just wouldn't click. But they complement each other perfectly. Lance's playful demeanor brings out Sydney's lighter side, providing her with much-needed relief from the pressures of her high expectations. In return, Sydney's grounded nature and quick wit help keep Lance's more impulsive tendencies in check.

It was on one fateful night when suddenly a spaceship crashed on Earth near Galaxy Garrison and Sydney and her best friend along with some other fellow pilots happen to notice it. If Sydney knew going after that spaceship with her friends meant that they all would get pulled into an intergalactic war in space and have to save Earth from evil then she probably would've not agreed to go. But then again maybe she wouldn't have gotten the opportunity to become a Paladin of Voltron or have an intergalactic love with her best friend.
