It's only been a week since Henry and Margaret began their romance, or as she puts it, their "true love story", Henry showers Margaret with the most expensive dresses, jewelry, shoes and everything else you could mention that could be matched by the belongings of the queen herself.

But not only does Margaret's image change, her attitude are as docile as she once was, she is now a woman more sure of herself and her words and thoughts, a woman who, from what she says "It's the King's favorite woman".

Margaret is in her room finishing dreassing, it's morning and she has to be ready to take care of Princess Elizabeth, on the other side of the room is Jane Seymour, another of Queen Anne's ladys in waiting, everyone in the castle is spread Margaret rumors, and Jane seems to want to find out the truth.

-That's a pretty dress margaret.

Margaret turns to Jane's direction and smiles at her.

-I know, don't I look like a woman from high society?.

She smiled, feeling confident in her attire.

-It must have cost you a lot.

She heard Jane's comment and just laughed.

-If you work as hard as me, maybe you can have nice things like me.

-Sorry, but I think that not even if i work for 10 years in the castle would I be able to have half of the things that you have.

Jane looked serious and approached Margaret.

-What are you playing?...

-I don't play anything Jane...

-Please, before arriving at the castle you were nothing more than a simple maid and now, with all these things, these dresses!, you think you are more important than a maid!.

-I am more important!.

-No, you are not!.

Margaret and Jane looked at each other face to face, Jane wanted to remind Margaret of reality while she wanted to show that she was much more valuable than any servant.

-Look at you Jane, you are so pathetic that you are not capable of making a single man notice you!...

She laughed sarcastically as she smiled evilly at Jane.

-Very soon, you are going to swallow all your words!, and neither you or anyone else is going to make fun of me again!.

Margaret said almost shouting but firm and strong.

-One day I am going to become a very powerful woman, you will see...

With that said Margaret walked towards the exit pushing Jane with her shoulder and leaving the room, she walked towards the princess's room, there she approached her crib and began to carry her, Margaret carried Elizabeth throughout the castle, while she thought.

-I see you are doing your job...

-Queen Anne...

She said to give a small bow with Elizabeth in her arms.

-My sweetheart!.

Anne said to give Elizabeth a kiss on the cheek.

-And you, I see that you do your job well as Elizabeth's servant, maybe Henry was right not to say goodbye.

-Of course she had it.

-Sorry?.

-I mean, the king is always right.

Anne saw the audacity in Margaret's words but instead of fighting she decided to leave, but not before giving Margaret a look full of fury, perhaps Anne felt bad enough not to argue...
