"Zac!" Y/N playfully teased him as they laid in bed on a rainy evening.

"Fifteen more minutes?" Zac stared back up at her, giving her his most dramatic puppy dog eyes.

'Who could say no to that?' she questioned herself before indulging him, "Ok, until I finish this next chapter."

Zac gently rested his head back on her ribcage, while his hand gently rubbed her belly. At the end of her first trimester, there wasn't much to rub but Zac knew that would soon change. It was his favorite part of the day, laying in bed as a family of three-

Buddy made his presence known, nosing at Y/N's bare belly to get her attention.

'Make that family of four' Zac said to himself, before making space on the bed for Buddy to join them. Instinctively, the labradoodle wedged himself between Y/N and Zac, and took over Zac's spot at Y/N's belly.

"Really?" Zac laughed. "Well, I guess we've got the Bubby and the Baby now," he kissed Y/N's temple and scratched Buddy behind the ears. "Someone's taking his new role as big brother awfully seriously."

"Do you think he knows?" Y/N questioned Zac.

"Honey," he looked down at Buddy, with his chin and front paws rested on her belly. "He knows," and they both laughed. "Say, I think someone's very eager to meet his little sister," Zac cooed, and Buddy briefly stared at Zac, before resting his chin back on her belly.

Zac couldn't help but laugh. While they'd certainly made strides in their relationship since he and Y/N first started dating, Buddy always made it clear that even though he liked Zac, Y/N was always going to be his #1. Zac took note of the likely fact that once they welcomed their daughter, he was going to be #3 on Buddy's list of favorite people.

"Are you excited to finally tell everyone?" she marked the page in her book.

"So excited," he smiled up at her. "I'm going to miss these moments, where it's just a secret that only you and I know...well, and the Bubby. But I know everyone will be so excited for us."

"I feel the same way," she kissed him.

When it was around their normal bedtime, it was time for everyone back in the States to wake up. Not wanting to waste those few precious hours of overlap with the extreme time change, they migrated to the living room and settled in on the couch. While Y/N made herself a glass of ice water, Zac plugged his MacBook in, completing one test call with Y/N's phone so he could make sure he knew how to record his screen, to capture everyone's reactions. With everything all set, they made their first of many FaceTimes. Dylan was up first.

When the video connected, Zac adjusted the screen so they were both in frame, while Dylan rubbed sleep from his eyes.

"So, are you finally calling to tell me I'm going to be an uncle?" Dylan joked. Shocked, Y/N and Zac immediately looked at each other. "Guys, I'm kidding!"

With a sheepish grin on his face, Zac replied, "We're not."

After a long pause, Dylan teared up as he restated, "I'm going to be an uncle?"

"You're going to be an uncle," Zac said with the same tears in his eyes.

"Mazel Tov!" Dylan broke into a wide smile. "That makes me so happy! I'm so excited!"

"Us too!" Y/N confirmed and Zac kissed her temple.

"So when?"

"Early February," Zac confirmed. "So, we're right at twelve weeks now, so we're in the safe zone to share with everybody. We had our first ultrasound the week before last..."
