From Super to Super

Sonic Frontiers

At Kronos Island the Giganto exploded and Super Sonic saw a vision of Ancient.

"No! We'll find another way!" Ancient said and shook it off.

"The first seal is broken. Thy next foe awaits on the sand-scarred island." Voice said.

"Right. You said "Titans" earlier. Plural!" Super Sonic said.

As she descended Amy approached her, having heard the news.

"Darn it!"Amy said.

"I guess this isn't over until I bop all the big bots. Sorry, Amy." Super Sonic said.

"I'm feeling more like my old self, it's working! Keep going and don't keep me waiting."

"I'll be back before you can do a Fortune Card reading. See ya!" Super Sonic said, zoomed off and Amy waved.

Later at Ares Island Super Sonic approached the next Island when a blast hit her causing her to drop the Chaos Emeralds and fall into the sand. After a moment, she was back to her normal form and struggled as she got up. She looked up at the airborne Chaos Emeralds as they scatter off and disappear.

"Nah. That's cool. I didn't want this to be easy anyway." Sonic said.

Sonic and Knuckles looked at the newly opened portal.

"Huh. You did it. Nice work." Knuckles said.

"Was there ever any doubt? Ready to go face impossible odds?" Sonic asked.

"Ha! We faced worse. Here we go! Try to keep up!"

"Whoa, hey! That's my line!"

Later.

"They're... gone. It killed them." Ancient said and Super Sonic swooped down to Knuckles.

"Not bad! Things would have been over faster if I'd been "Super Knuckles", but you did all right." Knuckles said.

"Yeah, you keep telling yourself that. I've got one more Titan bot to go. Hopefully I'll find Tails too. I'm worried about him." Super Sonic said.

"He'll be all right. Now, hurry up and save the day already!" he said and offered a fist bump but she ignored him and set off causing him to flinch.

At Ouranos Island.

"Once the Ancients landed on this world they cultivated the islands to be their new home. This place in particular was meant for prayer and reflection. They hoped to live in peace. When they learned their enemy had followed them here, they prepared to defend this world. The walls, cannons, towers - all for a desperate last stand." Sage said.

"That explains all the stuff I've seen on the run. I wondered if they were preparing for a fight. Now I know." Sonic said.

"This is where the Ancients would gather to simply be together. To cherish those who were left. That is why they recorded everything. Their history, their aspirations, their hopes, their dreams... so they would never be truly gone."

Later.

"One more, I gotta hurry up!" Sonic said.

"Sonic!" Sage said and the Eggmobile appeared.

"I know!" Eggman said to Sage annoyed, jumped off his Eggmobile and confronted Sonic. "You're not fast enough. So I found it for you." he said, took out the final Chaos Emerald from his pocket and turned to Sonic. "Go ahead and beat that giant." he said, tossed the Chaos Emerald to Sonic still annoyed and looking away. "Don't you dare lose it!"
