Once Janet left, I started cleaning up all the mess that accumulated.
Kelly eventually pulled back up at home and looked confused at all the shit that was all over the floor.
"What the fuck happened?" She asked me chuckling slightly
"Janet happened" I said scratching my head
"Uh? How does she go from smiling and bringing you gifts to fucking up your shit? What did you do?" She asked smacking the back of my head
"Gifts? The hell are you talking about Kelendria?"
"Did you not see the kitchen counter Dumbo? She got you all kinds of flowers and other shit. And from the way she was smiling, it looked like she had some big news to tell you.
I just hope you've been patient with that woman Bey. Divorce is already hard and from the shit you told me about her husband, I know he's going to give her the hardest time behind the dumbest shit. But you knew what you were getting into when you agreed to keep fooling with her right?"
Well, I feel shitty.
I was too busy worrying about myself that I didn't even consider how narcissistic and flat out weird that the Chewbacca looking nigga is.
Plus the fact that Janet had to think about her family and career in the end, even though some shit was a little off putting, I could have been a little more gracious about some shit.
Because at the end of the day, I knew she was married when we got into this entanglement.
And that was just the honest to God truth.
"ShewalkedinonmefuckingMeganandImighthavesmiledinherface" I spat out all in one breath
"Bitch what? If you gon be anything, be forreal when you talking to my half dead ass. Knowing I can't understand shit you said" she said side eyeing me
"I said, she walked in on my fucking Megan and I might have smiled in her face when I noticed her."
"Welp, that explains the mess. Justifiable too." Kelly said turning around on her heels and heading to her room
"Help me?" I asked her with puppy dog eyes
"With cleaning? Cause I know like hell you not talking about with boss lady" she said cracking up
"..... both?"
Kelly cackled harder at me, rolling on the floor at this point
"That lady don't want shit to do with yo dumbass" she said wiping a couple of tears away from her eyes
"Mmcht. Man stop" I said smacking my lips
"Honestly, just apologize and let her know where you coming from. Give her time but make sure you stand on business and let her know that you want to be with her when the time is right. So try to court her and be a lil trick.
That's the most advice I can give you at the moment. She probably don't even wanna look you in your face right now tho" she said smacking on some chocolates
"Uh? I know damn well that ain't my shit you munching on?" I said raising a brow
"And is. But you worried bout the wrong shit right now" she said rolling her eyes
I just shook my head and finished cleaning up the destruction Janet left and started to think on what I could do.

The next morning rolled around quickly since I was tossing and turning all night, thinking about getting my girl back
Okay, my girl was a stretch seeing as though we both have a lot of shit to work on.
What I can say is I know for sure that I wanna get back right with her because honestly, I don't want anybody else
I saw it was closing in on the time I had to be at the office so I quickly got dressed, making sure to look good and smell nice
I stopped by and got Janet some breakfast and her favorite flowers to put a smile on her face
Once I arrived at the office, I was on edge because my nerves were shot to hell
What if she whooped my ass?
She a lil crazy so I wouldn't put it past her to be honest
I went and knocked on her door seeing that her light was on
"Come in" she mumbled softly
I walked in and saw Eissa sleeping in his portable crib and Janet with her nose in her computer with the same clothes on, looking like she's been up and doing some work all night
"Hey, I brought you some food and a couple of items." I said smiling a little and placing the things down
"I'm not hungry, thanks though." She said not even glancing up
"Um- well give it to Eissa when he wakes? I'm sure he'll be hungry" I said looking at her while she took off her glasses and rubbed her temples
"He has food in the fridge so he'll be just fine. I've already sent your assignments to your email. Today will be pretty chill because I won't really need you for the day. Once you finish your work, you can go ahead and go home. Thank you Ms. Knowles." Janet said in a professional voice
"JJ, can we talk about last night?" I practically begged her
"No we can not." She said still typing on her laptop
I reached over and closed it and she looked up at me, sighing loudly with a couple of unshed tears in her eyes
"I'm so sorry mama. I was being selfish. I didn't take-"
"Beyoncé, it's okay I promise. You did what you needed to do and I completely understand it. Live your life, I'm not mad at it. I'm just gonna leave the thought of us alone and I'm gonna focus on my child and I for a bit. I think that's the best thing I can do right now." She said holding my hand and gently smiling at me
"But I want us to work" I said pitifully pleading my case
She chuckled softly and shook her head
"You got somebody and I have myself for the first time in my life. Go be happy, I need to learn and love me for once."
"I'm not giving up on us baby" I said looking her in the eyes
She kissed me gently and held me afterwards.
I could feel her thoughts moving while we cuddled in silence
Why does this feel like goodbye?
