Wolf's POV:

I wander aimlessly through the deep forest, a cloud of hopelessness surrounding me.

Because of a bear, I now have no pups. I am extremely Sad that I will not get to teach them to hunt, watch them grow, or groom their soft fur at night.

So, I walk through the snow silently, sadness lingering in my heart. I hear a branch crack, and jerk my head up to investigate.

My nose works, and I can smell a new sent in the forest. I smell another animal, a horse, I think. I smell bood. I also smell something else. Something... unknown to me. Something that is coming this way.

Authors note:
Hi my wonderful readers!!! It's been a while, hasn't it? This book is Very different from what I usually write, but I decided to write about something other than horses this time. My inspiration for this book was very strange. I was camping, in the middle of the woods. drifting off to sleep, when I had sort of a... Vision. this scene just popped into my head. It was a huge, white wolf walking along the crest of a hill, and then it turned and looked at me with these bright blue eyes. it was a brief sight in my head, but enough for me to come up with this story. Anyway, with all that said, soooooo sorry this chapter was so short, but this is kind of my starter for the book. And btw, for the rest of the book it will be mostly Aspen's POV. I'll try to update often! It may take a while to get chapter 1 out, So sorry! hope you guys enjoy this book! :)
