Catherine’s POV

I guess I felt bad for rejecting Harry like that but I wasn’t sure I was ready for that. I mean I hadn’t had my first kiss yet and I graduated! I didn’t know what to do with myself anymore. That moment had a one in a million chance of happening again. Maybe if I wasn’t so clueless about everything I probably would’ve had my first kiss already.

I felt extra anti-social now because the guys were busy doing a twitcam on the other side of the room. Naomi came over to me after a while.

She sighed.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her

“Hate.” She sighed

As good as Naomi’s life was, because she was Louis’ girlfriend, she got hate all the time. And she really didn’t deserve it. I’d remember she’d go out with Louis in public and the second he left, they’d bother her.

I matted down her hair.

“It’s ok, it’s ok.” I pretended to coo her

“Did you tell Louis?”

“No. Because he’d get mad at his fans and then they’d call me a ‘cry baby’ or whatever. It’s not bothering me as much anymore.”

I tried to stifle a laugh.

“Remember what Briana said?” I said, cracking up

“Yeah.” She burst out laughing as well

“What DID Briana say?” A voice said behind me

“She…she said…if she…. got hate… she would personally…say…thank you….to all of them.” I said in between laughs

Naomi looked at me frantically, or at something behind me. I turned around and was faced with Louis.

“You’re getting hate!?” Louis shouted at her

She nodded shyly. Louis grabbed her hand and butted in to Liam’s twitcam.

“Sorry about this Liam, but this needs to happen now.” He told him

“Guys, I respect you all as fans, but you CANNOT be sending hate to my girlfriend. It’s my choice to date her; regardless of whatever all of you have to say. So you guys really need to back off and leave her alone.”

I loved the way Louis treated Naomi. He was so good for her. I sighed. Harry and Niall came back and sat on the couch. Briana was talking to Zayn and Liam who had just finished their twitcam. Briana made a joke about Liam and he pushed her right into Niall. I laughed but she looked at me confused and then blushed at Niall. The rest actually understood my joke and laughed along with me.

Naomi’s POV

We all watched in amusement as Niall, subtly, would try to put a move on Briana. Louis held me in his lap, still protective over the whole ‘hate’ thing. In comparison to how Louis was treating me, those two were acting nothing like a couple. But I didn’t want to make things awkward JUST YET.

I looked over at Catherine who seemed lonelier than usual. Ever since she ‘rejected’ Harry, the both of them have been awfully quiet.
