Nineteen

Carter's POV
When the doorbell rang I ran to the door. No, I wasn't expecting Laila but I was expecting Indy. I didn't forget about Laila if that's what your thinking. Laila wasn't responding to our text before, so I didn't text her. Why would she respond to a party invitation and not a text for help. I hope she's safe though.

When I open the door in comes Kian with his hat on as usual and Jc with his messy curls. Kian had on a bucket hat this times.they were both holding a box of limeritas each. We invited them in and they hurried to put them on the kitchen counter. As soon as they placed them down the doorbell rang again. Cameron was helping the guys put the drinks in a cooler so I answered it.

I open the door and in barges in a Ricky Dillon, Jennxpenn, Rebecca Black, Lohanthany, and Andrew Lowe.

"What's up guys! Where's Jack and Andrea?" I asked them.

"Their coming they had to wait on...um.." Jenn startled.

"Waiting on who?" I ask suspiciously.

"Um..." Jenn started then Rebecca shot her a angry look. "Nobody!"

Then came the awkward silence. I wonder who they were waiting on?

"Well..where's the music!" Anthony says stopping the awkwardness.

"I can get that started for you!" Jenn says while walking toward the Aux cord in the back.

Soon Hey Mama by David Guetta started playing. More people started coming right away but we were still missing Andrea, Jack, Arden, and Indy.

It was 8:46 and Matt comes up to me.

"Are you sure she's coming?" He asks.

"Indy? Of course! She wouldn't stand me up." I say.

"Are you sure. you don't seem sure"

"Yes I'm sure"

He gives me a sly look and goes back to dancing in the middle of the group. I don't even know if she's coming anymore. It's practically 9:00. I don't care anymore. She's not gonna stop me from having a good time. I get me a limerita and head to the middle of the dance floor or should I say living room. Watch me whip by Silento started to play so you know I had to kill it.

It was now 10:00 and everyone was having fun. Song after song everyone would just kill it at dancing. Then I hear someone yell my name. It was Andrew.

"Carterrr!!! Get the door!!" He yelled.

I ran up to the door to see a beautiful Indy standing there. I get so excited that I pick her up and give her a hug.

"It's only been a day!" She says laughing.

I laugh then put her down. I take her to the couch and we start talking.

40 minutes later I get up and go to the bathroom. Someone was in there on the phone. I'm guessing it was Jenn by the voice.

"What do you mean she's not coming?! She has to he's been cuddled up with some girl all night. No I don't know her name. Yes he's here too. I don't care how you do it just make sure she gets here NOW!!" Then she hangs up.

I wonder who she was on the phone with. It has to be the same person who they were waiting on.

It's now 11:10 and I hear a knock at the door.When I open the door I saw Jack, Andrea, Arden, Lauren, and a head in the back. I couldn't recognize them so I just ignored it. Soon they start to come in and I saw who the head was. It was Laila.
