Chapter 21: Braces

Lexi's POV

"Lexi, Lexi Wake up!" I heard a voice say. I opened my eyes and saw Brenda staring at me. "Huh?" I asked rubbing my eyes and yawning. "We have to go to the dentist today!" She said in a 'duh' tone. "Crap! I forgot, what time is it?" I asked getting up. "8:28" She said stretching. "Crap!! Go get ready! I'll be out in 15." I said running to my closet and looking for an outfit. She waved at me and sprinted to her room.

I fixed my hair and got dressed. I ran to the restroom and brushed my teeth. "BRENDA! YOU READY?" I yelled while washing my face. "YEAH" She answered.

I looked at myself in the mirror one last time and ran out the room. "Oh by the way the girls went home until the lads come back so we can either stay here or go home." Brenda said while reaching for her keys. "Lets stay here." I said. She nodded and we headed to the car.

2 hours later

"How you feeling?" Brenda asked laughing at me. "I
Feel like hell, I'm in serious pain right now." I said rubbing my eyes. Brenda laughed one last time and drove home.

I got my braces today, It was only my lower teeth and some upper ones that were crooked, So I wanted to get braces for them. I got some blue ones and I look hideous in them. Brenda said they looked fine but i don't believe her.

I touched my tooth and it hurt like hell as soon as my finger touched the tooth. "BLOODY HELL!" I yelled and closed my eyes shut to try and make the pain go away. Brenda laughed and stopped the car.

"Just go to sleep, you'll feel better that way. I'll tell Louis you got braces so yeah." Brenda said as she unlocked the door. I nodded and headed downstairs. I closed my eyes shut and fell asleep.

Brenda's POV

I walked to the living room and got my phone out. I dialed Louis's number and called it.

After 2 rings, he picked up.
"Yess?" He asked. "Um you know Lexi right?" I asked trying to scare him. "Duh Brenda, what happened." He said. "She got in a car crash and has only 1 day to live." I said fake crying and trying so hard not to laugh. "WHAT!!??? HOW!??!?! IM GOING OVER THERE." He yelled. "No! Louis I would be sobbing if that happened idiot." I said in a 'duh' tone. "So nothing happened right!?" He asked calming down a bit. "Nope." I smiled in victory. "I hate you." He said. "But foreal, She got her braces. Just letting you know." I said. "Oh okay, is she in pain?" He asked. "Alot." I answered. "Is that it?" He asked. I nodded but then realized he can't see me. "Yes now bye child." I said and hung up before he could say anything.

2 months later

Me and Lexi were at the moment watching tv. "Now a special report about one direction." The reporter said inside the TV. "Hmm, this should be interesting." I said. Lexi nodded, Not taking her eyes off the screen.

"Yesterday, we found the boys at the club," The reporter said. I looked at Lexi and have her a confused look, she did the same. "They didn't tell us anything..." Lexi said turning back to the screen.

"These photos have been found in a girl's Twitter account." The reporter said and there showed up two photos, It was Louis kissing another girl and Niall literally making out with this blonde chick.

I could feel my eyes getting watery. I looked over at Lexi and tears where already streaming down her face, But she didn't take her eyes off the screen. I can't stand watching Lexi cry, every time she cries, I cry. So I cried too. Not just because of Lexi, but because Niall cheated on me. I then got a phone call.

I looked at the caller ID. "Zelda" I whispered to myself. I answered and wiped the tears away. "Yes," I said my voice cracking. "Lexi turned the tv off and threw the remote to the table. Then she sobbed, her knees pulled up to her chest and her arms wrapped around them. She sunk her head on her knees and sobbed.
