(Third Person)
The light of a desk light in the white room flickered on, making a small table with two chairs become visible to the eye. Celeste darted her blood-red eyes around the blank room, taking it all in as she could, before being pushed forward.

She had her hands behind her back, as Kyoko held her arms in that position. Why, exactly? Well, Celeste was being questioned by the famous detective; a murder occurring in the casino Celestia visited pretty much daily.

Kyoko brought her over to the chair on the right, and sat her down on the foldable chair, releasing her arms afterwards. The room's door was slammed shut by one of Kyoko's co-workers to ensure Celeste could not escape. Kyoko walked over to the chair opposing Celestia, pulled it out and sat down neatly. She placed her hands on the table, while Celestia rested her chin on her balled-up, pale fists. Kyoko inhaled inwards, closing her eyes as she did so, before opening them again as she silently exhaled, preparing to ask her question for the 'Queen of Liars'.

"Celeste." She stated simply.

Celestia tilted her head to the side as she stared directly into Kyoko's lavender orbs, recieving the same stare into her own.

"Yes, detective?" Her pure-red lips twisted into a smile while she did not lose direction of eyesight once.

"Do you know why you're here?" Kyoko gave a serious look, her eyelids falling down ever so slightly.

"Why, no, I do not. May you be a sweetheart and explain it to me?" Her posh accent never faltered once, even with her deceitful lies, which she was well aware of.

This question caused Kyoko to sigh, quite annoyed she would have to explain the whole thing to someone who clearly already knew what's up.

"You know why." Kyoko placed one hand over the other, "a man, murdered, and it just so happens to be at the casino you were gambling at, correct me if I'm wrong."

Celestia nodded in confirmation, seemingly unfazed, Kyoko nodded back as she kept that clue stored in a mental note.

"We have reason, such as that, to suspect you as the possible killer." Kyoko continued.

Celeste exhaled deeply, blinking but also keeping eyesight locked with Kyoko's.

"May I hear your idea of my potential motivation?"

"We're not completely sure yet, but considering you're a gambler, it could be caused from a losing deal."

"I? Celestia Ludenburg? Lose a deal? What nonsense." Celeste turned to a more stern face, showing she was quite unappreciative that Kyoko is not aware of her important title, "you do realise who I am, right, miss detective?"

"Of course. But that doesn't change the fact you could have killed him."

Celestia cleared her throat, and brought her hands down from her chin, lowering them to spread flat on the surface of the table, pretty much mimicking Kyoko's pose.

"As I may recall from the night, I was quite...occupied." Celestia grinned, "it is on the security footage, no?"

"All cameras were disabled as far as we are aware. What were you doing precisely?"

"I had brought my son to the casino. I had to take care of him, of course. What kind of mother would I be if I didn't?"

"Why would you bring your own child to a casino anyway?"

"I'm his only caretaker. It'd be worse to leave him all alone." She placed her hand onto Kyoko's and leaned forwards over the table, "unless you'd be willing to change that."

Kyoko glanced down as Celeste's frozen-cold skin pressed against hers, shivering a little, but making it a mission to keep her composure and hide it.

"How old is your son?" Kyoko attempted to change the subject.

"Not much younger than me, he's adopted. He is 16."

"And you are?"

"20. Is this really important?"

"Hmm...and what behaviour patterns have you noticed in your son recently?" This caused Celeste to scoff in offense, tightening her grip on Kyoko's hand.

Kyoko flinched slightly, straining her shoulders.

"Are you accusing my son of homicide?"

"No ma'am, I'm simply collecting as much information as I can."

Celeste loosened her grip and Kyoko relaxed her shoulders.

"Well, if you must know, he is a little on the... insane side." Celestia sighed, "I've tried to get help for him and all, but it seems near impossible."

Kyoko nodded and took one of her hands from Celestia's clasp, grabbing her pen and notepad, then began writing down what she was just told and what she was told not too long ago (maybe just a few minutes, realistically).

"I see. And you had your eye on him the whole time you were in the casino?"

"Of course. He would probably burn the building down if I didn't."

"I see.."

Celestia stayed silent, waiting for the next question, and the sounds of Kirigiri's pen on the paper echoed through the room. She watched her hand intently as she wrote every word.

"Now, last question about your son and we'll go back to the topic of you. Sound okay?"

"That seems quite alright, yes. What is it that you need?" Celestia gave a small smile, the red-lipstick that plastered her face complimenting her exceedingly.

"What is your son's name?"

"Why, it is Kokichi Ouma."

Kyoko nodded again and wrote the name down on her notepad, and Celeste watched her draw a ring around the name like an important piece of evidence.

"So..." Kyoko clicked the back of her pen and it retracted the tip back inside, "about you."

Celestia continued smiling and stared back into Kyoko's eyes once again.

"What about me do you need to know?"

"Why do they call you the 'Queen of Liars?'" Kyoko clicked her pen again so it was no longer retracted.

"Well, simply because of my status in the gambling world. As the ultimate gambler, I'd like to think I'm worthy of a title like that."

"Mhm..." As Celestia spoke, Kyoko wrote down word after word.

"Hey...Kirigiri?" Celeste still held onto Kyoko's hand gently.

"Yes?"

"...Do you really want to believe I would do something so obscene, such as murder? Would I?" Celestia tilted her head to the side and moved her free hand under the hand she clutched to on top of, and lifted it up slightly.

"Well...If you really want my opinion, I think there's a chance you probably did. But I'm not sure if that's the reality I really want to accept."

Celeste increasingly held Kyoko's hand higher, before bringing it near her face and planting a soft kiss on her gloved knuckles.

"I wouldn't think so." She pushed her hand back to the table and rubbed her thumb over it, smiling a genuine smile.

Kyoko gave her a small smile back, but managed to keep it proffesional all the while.

"So, for your next question..."
