“Where were you, I’ve been waiting for, like, ten minutes.” I sighed as Harry walked toward me.
“My mom got lazy and decided to take me later.” He replied.
“Well I was alone… where are you going now?” I watched him stare at his phone and pick his books back up.
“Audrey’s here.” He replied. Of course he didn’t leave without saying bye;
“See ya cutie.” He said and winked at me.
With Harry, you can never tell if he is serious or not with the things he says and does. A few weeks ago he had told me he liked me, but he’s liked Audrey for the longest time. “no u like Audrey” I said. “ok” was all he answered me and when I said lol, he saw my message but decided to ignore me. And ignore me for a week at school. Then I realized he was serious.
I could have the perfect boyfriend right now if I wanted, if I just realized he was serious. If I didn’t take everything people said to me as a joke. But was Harry really what I wanted? Sure, he was the sweetest guy I know, but do I even have feelings for him? He seemed too involved and set on getting Audrey I guess that’s why I didn’t take him seriously.
You can see it in his eyes when he looks at her… the way they just shine when someone says her name. But not with me. I’m just plain old Mackenzie. Forever stuck in the friend-zone with Harry Styles.
