Harry Styles

It's been days, and I'm yet to see Frankie since the day we got back from our Barcelona trip, the day everything went south.

Since then, people haven't really been speaking about frankie and I. The general public care less than anticipated, however those in our line of work have kept it a topic of conversation./ I haven't directly heard much of it, I just know people are talking and I know that'll drive Frankie insane.

She hasn't called me yet, and I've had to fight driving round to her place because I need to see her. I just want to hear her voice and know she's okay. Luckily though, today I'll have the chance. She's back training today after the ankle injury from Barcelona, and I'm heading to London too to meet with the people from the GB olympic team.

I was nervous arriving at the training grounds, because the first thing on my agenda was to speak to people regarding the future of Frankie and I working together. I don't know what I'd do if they told me I wasn't allowed to work with her anymore. I'd have to work with someone new and I wouldn't be able to keep up with Frankie and her success.

At reception, I was just about to ask the lady if they knew where I could find the people I had to talk to, however that wasn't necessary as they were standing right by the coffee machine. It was a warm welcome I was greeted with, which was reassuring, it felt less like I was going to be told to find a new runner to coach.

'I'm gonna keep this quick, Styles.' Gordon said, as we walked down the corridor to sit at one of the tables in the cafeteria. 'Technically, it's fine. It's just a case of not mixing business with pleasure, you know? Whatever is happening with you guys can't get in the way of Frankie's career, because she's at her peak right now and is an extremely important member of the olympic team.'

'I know that,' I nodded. 'Nothing will get in the way.'

'Okay, well I'll take your word for it. You guys work well together, you're a really good coach so we'll keep you working with one another. Just know we'll have to check in on progress and it can't be on a decline because they'll blame it on you.' Gordon explained.

'Okay,' I took a deep breath. 'That's it?'

'That's all. No romance in the way of work.' He smiled. 'She got here five minutes ago, off you go.'

'Cool, thanks man.' I smiled, feeling relieved that this conversation I had been anticipating all week had been much easier than I could've imagined.

Gordon got up and walked in the opposite direction that I had to go, which was great because then we didn't have to do the awkward parting ways and yet follow one another. I headed straight for the track with my bag full of all my training things, however, Frankie wasn't there at the track yet which made me a little nervous.

There were other athletes there, everyone kind of keeps to themselves when we use the olympic training ground but I felt like people were looking and judging because they knew there was something between Frankie and I. This is why we tend to train at different athletic grounds, there's so much less judgement.

Today though, we had to train here, because there were going to be people watching to be sure Frankie and I weren't going to let this get in the way of our work. We're known for arguing on the track, yet everyone knows it only seems to give Frankie something to prove, so it works. From their perspective, if we're romantically involved there's less hatred for one another so it flips the whole reason I work with her on it's head.

I was just sitting there on the bench waiting for her to arrive, I had done all my stretches and warm ups for the day, now I just had to wait for Frankie to show faces so we could get into actually working.
