I See Right Through You

"Ok first of all no you can't stick figure," Jungkook answered. "Second of all Namjoon doesn't deal. He doesn't even touch the product. He checks on the people who make it, he watches others package it, and watches his distribution guys hand it to dealers. I doubt he's dealt since the early days of his operation." Jungkook knew he kept a couple of bags on him at all times but Namjoon didn't deal. He didn't have to, he had enough people terrified of him.

"Yes, I can. I could win a fight with you if you tried," Jimin said as he narrowed his eyes a little. He didn't like it when people didn't think he could do something. "Secondly, I don't have people working for me yet so I can do it. It's not much at the minute anyway until I get my own stuff," Jimin shrugged as he crossed his arms across his chest.

"Yeah sure," Jungkook said back as he smoothed the blanket and gestured for Jimin to go down the stairs. Jimin was too tiny to win anything but Jungkook was a bit too sore to prove a point if Jimin did decide to get feisty. He didn't want to spend the day aching, he had things to do. He was glad Namjoon didn't have him dealing today. He would revisit dealing with Jimin later.

Jimin glared at Jungkook as the older of the two headed towards the door. In one swift movement, Jimin had opened his nightstand and grabbed the army knife. He made it across the room in only a couple of strides and held the army knife up against Jungkook's back, the pointed tip against his spine. "Are you sure about that?" Jimin warned. He didn't like it when people didn't believe in him. He was perfectly fine to take care of himself.

"Oh please stab me with your little pig sticker," Jungkook said, not even fearing the blade against his spine. "You would be better throwing it across the room. Holding it like this gives your opponent time to do this." Jungkook ignored the pain that flashed as he twisted. He grabbed Jimin's arm and twisted it behind his back and had Jimin pinned to the wall and he held his blade against Jimin's throat. "If it wasn't against my moral code I would have pulled out the gun your brother gave me to protect you." His body ached but it was important to teach Jimin this. "If you want to learn to defend yourself I'll teach you when I'm less achy." He pulled back and handed the blade back to Jimin.

Jimin grumbled and shoved the blade into his bag. That was one thing he took to school in case Namjoon did go through his things. He had an excuse for the bags if Namjoon found them. He was simply going to say that one of the guys had planted them and warned Jimin not to say anything. "You're an asshole," Jimin mumbled as he headed downstairs. Jungkook was the first person to do anything like that. Everyone normally listened to Jimin and now he was completely thrown off his game. "Stop ruining my fun," Jimin pouted as he grabbed a fresh water bottle out of the fridge.

"No," Jungkook said. "You do that with anyone but someone your brother owns they would kill you. I kind of prefer you alive. Yesterday and quite frankly today it's partially for me Namjoon would skin me alive. Now it's two-sided, you're the only one who's nice to me. I like you alive so I can see you coming up with new ways to get what you want." He stole Jimin's water.

Jimin was fuming. First Jungkook doesn't believe Jimin can do something, then puts a blade to his neck and spoils his fun, and now this. "Give it back," Jimin pouted. He was annoyed and all out of ideas. He watched as Jungkook shook his head and held it just out of Jimin's reach. Jimin sighed and let his body sag. "Fine, I'm not playing anymore," Jimin murmured as he moved to sit down at the kitchen table. "Tell me when the car gets here," he muttered as he crossed his arms on the tabletop and rested his chin on them, staring at the wall opposite.

"Oh poor little Jimin-ssi all messed up," Jungkook teased in a baby voice. He came over and titled Jimin's head up. He kissed him slowly for a long moment sliding his tongue into that sinful mouth. He set the water bottle on the table in front of Jimin. "You should know by now pouting doesn't work on me. I see right through you." He still didn't know why Jimin was letting him get away with the touching and the kissing but he was enjoying his new favorite drug.

Jimin turned his head away from Jungkook and faced a different direction. He didn't like that Jungkook could read him so well, no one could before and it was unnerving. "Go away," Jimin muttered. He really didn't like being so vulnerable, even Namjoon couldn't read Jimin this well. He could get away with absolutely anything usually and now Jungkook had to come and be an amazing kisser and turn Jimin's world upside down. Jimin was not having it. He would spend the day thinking of a way to get back at Jungkook.

"No," Jungkook said easily even as Jimin turned away. He merely ran his fingers through that soft hair and over the back of Jimin's neck. He liked irritating Jimin, it was a little like poking a sleeping bear. The urge to see how far he could go before Jimin reared up and bit off his head. He thought about it for another moment and decided to play Jimin's game back. "Oh, I get it I'm a terrible person and you don't want me around you. I'll tell Namjoon you want a new guard." He sat down and turned his face away pretending to be upset.

Jimin listened to what Jungkook said and the thought of Jungkook not being his guard anymore and someone else hovering around him flashed through his mind. It sent a shiver down his spine. He didn't want that. He wanted Jungkook. Just Jungkook. The stupid guard who had made the dark okay, the stupid guard who had helped him from getting busted by an undercover cop, and the jerk who was vulnerable in the bathroom but somehow trusted Jimin. The absolute asshole Jimin wanted to keep around. Jimin could feel tears welling up as he thought about Jungkook leaving, the idiot guard he had come to like leaving. Jimin sniffed, got up walked out of the kitchen, out the front door, and went to sit on the step to wait for his car. He just wanted to go to school now.

Jungkook knew he had taken it too far. He sighed and got up. He sat down on the step next to Jimin. He was careful to keep his hands to himself. Making out with Jimin in the house was fine but with a car arrival imminent he had to be careful. "I didn't mean to really upset you Jimin," Jungkook was glad he was starting to be able to read Jimin. Read when he was genuinely upset versus faking it to get his way. He briefly so briefly it barely counted touched his hand. "I won't tell Namjoon anything and I will teach you how to defend yourself when I am not hurting. Just be careful."

Jimin turned his head to look at Jungkook with his slightly glassy eyes and downcast expression. "You won't leave?" Jimin asked, trying to be hopeful. He had come to enjoy having Jungkook around. He wasn't like the rest of the guards Namjoon assigned. Jungkook treated Jimin like an equal rather than a teenager, he helped him and made him feel better. Then for some stupid reason, butterflies had started fluttering in Jimin's stomach when he looked at Jungkook. "I don't want you to go," Jimin whispered as he looked at the ground again, his sneakers suddenly becoming very interesting.

Jungkook swallowed. "I won't go for as long as possible. If I'm not around just remember I didn't want to leave. Namjoon killed me," Jungkook said looking into those eyes. He wasn't used to people needing him or wanting him. He had also never been so scared of letting someone down. He glanced up as the car came around. "I would kiss you goodbye but I will settle for imagining seeing you this evening."

Jimin nodded and wiped his eyes with the back of his hand. He would fix his makeup in the car on the way to school. Jimin stood up and looked at the car before turning back to Jungkook and quickly kissing his cheek. "See you tonight, I'll tell Namjoon I want you with me again," Jimin said softly before giving Jungkook a small smile and turning. He climbed into the car and buckled himself in. He already couldn't wait to be home again now to see Jungkook.

Jungkook watched the car pull away and sighed. He went back inside and went to the bathroom. He snorted three more lines before walking to his old home. He found a box that didn't stink and wasn't totally soggy in the trash and took it upstairs with him. He packed up his glass pipe, lighter, and several pictures and sighed. The bow was depressingly empty. He detached his key and left it on the table and left. He wasn't getting his deposit back and he didn't even care. He made his way into the shed and into the room and hid his stuff under the mattress. He was smoking the crystal, it was something he rarely indulged in. He had the door propped slightly open. When he heard voices out in the main room he scampered off into a corner.

He listened to the talking and by the end of it, his eyes were wide. He also knew he had no choice but to tell Namjoon because he couldn't lose Jimin. Who knew maybe it would enamor Namjoon to him. He sighed and made sure the shed was empty before walking out to meet the car. He hated this life.

Jimin grinned when he spotted Jungkook leaning against the sleek black town car. "Hi," he beamed as he reached Jungkook. He climbed into the back seat of the car, quickly followed by Jungkook. Jimin kicked off his shoes like usual and folded himself up in the seat as he turned to the guard and smiled at him. He rested his head on the headrest as he turned sideways to face Jungkook and watched him. He looked over those features, the fluffy black hair, the shiny lip piercing, the dark brown eyes, and the dewy skin. He really was quite attractive and Jimin didn't know how he had missed that before.

Jungkook smiled at him and briefly touched his hand. "How much homework do you have?" Jungkook asked knowing they should act normally around the driver. He didn't want normal. He wanted to wrap Jimin up and kiss him. Better than drugs. He was also dreading talking to Namjoon later so he wanted to spend some time not thinking. He wasn't about to cross that line in front of Namjoon's employees. One-way death sentence.

"I have math and English to do tonight," Jimin answered as he smirked at Jungkook's small touches. Jimin unfolded his legs and stretched out, placing his legs in Jungkook's lap. He knew the driver wouldn't be bothered about this. Jimin often stretched out on the back seat, using whichever guard was there as a footrest. "I have science too but I don't have to do that today. That one can wait until tomorrow," Jimin said as he rested his head back down on the headrest.

Jungkook nodded, still distracted but didn't mind Jimin's feet on him. "Cool, we can watch a movie," Jungkook said softly. He wasn't really sure what to talk about now. He wished he was more loaded. He was also less inhibited when he was high. The new dynamic made him nervous but as he looked at Jimin he realized it made his stomach fill with butterflies. It made him want to smile.

Jimin nodded, watching Jungkook as they drove. He always liked watching people, it was how he judged them to see if he liked them. He was always wary of people anyway. But over the last day, Jimin had realized he had opened up to Jungkook, more than anyone else, without realizing it. Jungkook had this stupid effect on Jimin that made him trust him. As soon as they arrived home, Jimin slipped his shoes back on. He pulled his bag back on his shoulder and climbed out of the car, heading into the house. "Joonie! I'm home!" Jimin called out as soon as he entered the house.

Jungkook was frankly glad no one answered him as Jimin stepped into the house. He didn't want to face Namjoon. He wanted to run away from all of this. The idea of running away was not new. The realization that he wanted to take Jimin with him was. He followed the thin boy to the dining room table. He knew it would never happen. Jimin was dedicated to Namjoon and Jungkook knew he would always be found.

Jimin dumped his bag on the dining table. He dipped into the kitchen for a second to kick his shoes off and grab a cold can of soda and some chips before heading back into the dining room. "Shall we order pizza tonight when we watch our movie? Namjoon is probably not eating with us but he will have left money," Jimin asked as he pulled his math and English books out of his bag as well as his pencil case. "Pajama and movie night?" Jimin grinned as he glanced at Jungkook whilst opening his English book. He would do that first, Jimin hated math.

"You eat a lot of pizza. There are other food groups you know," Jungkook said, not really interested in eating. If he did eat it would likely be one or two bites. He watched as Jimin sorted his homework. He had hated his foreign language class, he'd only taken it because his parents insisted. He was fingering the little bag in his pocket trying to decide if he wanted another hit. The earlier one was starting to fade.

"Well, what do you want to eat then? We can order Korean food?" Jimin asked as he scribbled one of his answers down in his book. He ordered a lot of food for himself, mainly because Namjoon usually worked until late evenings and normally missed meals so Jimin usually fended for himself. Jimin scribbled down another answer, he was thankful he had actually been paying attention in class, his homework wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be.

"Don't worry about me, you order whatever you want to eat," Jungkook said, deciding he did in fact want another hit. He picked up the decorative glass sphere and used it to crush the crystals. "I've got all I need right here." The tendrils of the drug working through his brain were nice. He sat back against his chair. Food and sleep were overrated anyway.
