hi. rewrite 👌 ok. How y'all doing

letting y'all know ahead of time the chapters will be LONG. i'm talking 10k+ words. the whole thing is already around 50k and it's 4 chapters in (excluding the introduction)

also, there will be triggering topics described, which applies to the following:

-misogyny (brief)
-heavy internalized homophobia
-grief
-episodic psychosis*
-depression*
-CPTSD*
-emotional child neglect (brief)*
-compulsory heterosexuality (which goes hand in hand with internalized homophobia here)
-graphic depictions of violence and suicide*
-witchcraft (not rlly a trigger imo but i suppose some people aren't big fans)
-manic episodes*
-miscommunication/straight up no communication (also not that triggering but 🤷)
-cursing
-lotttttts of self hate*
-brief self harm*

the topics with the asterisk (*) are topics that are not to be romanticized (none of these are, but especially those), and thus will be treated like the serious topics they are. again, none of these topics are for romanticism, none of these topics will be glorified. i feel it should also be pointed out that the general vibe of this fic is mildly toxic (i.e maki forcing herself into a marriage with a man she doesn't love).

i won't give away the plot just yet, but it's basically a paranormal investigation involving maki and the ghost of someone she once knew.

updates will be spontaneous after I upload the most recent one (which i finished all the way back in march..👌). i cannot promise frequent updates, as i have a job and i have college coming up.

this fic will span from jjk0 to the middle of the culling games arc (and also a time period in between jjk and modulo).

of course, i recognize none of this is canon, i'm well aware that y*ta and maki got married. this is simply for entertainment so do not come up in my comments preaching to the yutamaki choir that isn't here. y'all WILL be blocked 👌
