The Descended

Chapter 3

Bryce's P.O.V.

All I remember is a train and black ,white and voices. But what came after scared me more than anything I've ever seen. My friends.... Their screams so loud. As the all called out to me for help I was helpless I couldn't move.. I couldn't speak. One by one each voice disappeared. Once all the voices disappeared from my ears.... I awoke inside this cage. Very small and cramped I was trapped but by who and why. I sat there silence filling the air, until I heard footsteps from across the room. I couldn't see the owner of the footsteps. Except from his outline he was completely hidden. Once the footsteps stopped, the silence was continuously filled by his mumbling.
Every time he finished the phrase that he was saying he got louder. When he got loud enough for me to here him, he kept saying " you decide your destiny not your friends". I kept repeating it trying to understand why he was saying it to me. I closed my eyes for a moment to help me think and When I opened them I was in a cloud. floating with it flowing with and in the wind. The wind kept picking up and up, until finally I fell. I was scared truly scared and didn't know what to do.

Caunna's P.O.V.

We all woke up either in the car or at home, except for Bryce. The damn brat wasn't here or anywhere to be specific.
He was missing. When I went to check up on him when we all woke up he wasn't there, as a matter of fact his room was empty and was ingulfed by darkness. I sat there waiting for the others to get to the park ( which is our all the time meeting place. As I waited I watched the sky as the clouds surrounded the city below. First light clouds then dark. I watched kinda worrily. The center of the storm was dark and not just a regular dark, it made me feel cold inside. Almost like the vision dream teleporting thing that happened to us. I got up from the bench I was on and watched as my friends walked up with confused faces. Bella and I looked at each other, we knew that this couldn't be good. Lilli opened her mouth to say something when the ground beside her was alit by lightning. Lilli duct to the ground with fear in her eyes. Bella and I looked at each other and ran to grab Lilli of the ground. But we were stopped by another bolt of lightning, and another separating me from Bella I was cut of by fire. Trapped. I screamed for help as I felt a hand on my shoulder, when I turned to see my eyes filled with horror.
