Chapter 15: A Heart-to-Heart About Trixie's Visits

Chloe sat down next to Lucifer on the couch, her mind filled with thoughts about their daughter, Trixie. She had been considering the idea of Trixie staying over at Lucifer's place every few weeks, and now seemed like the perfect time to discuss it.

Taking a deep breath, Chloe turned to Lucifer and began, "Lucifer, I've been thinking about something lately... I believe it's time for Trixie to start spending more time with you. I know you've always been there for her, but I think it's important for her to have a stronger bond with you."

Lucifer looked at Chloe, his eyes filled with a mixture of surprise and delight. "You think so, Detective?" he asked, a hint of hope in his voice.

Chloe nodded, her expression softening. "Yes, I do. Trixie adores you, and I can see how much you care for her. It's only fair that she gets to spend quality time with her father. Plus, it would give me a chance to have some much-needed alone time."

Lucifer chuckled, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Ah, so you're trying to pawn off our daughter on me, are you, Detective? I must say, I'm quite flattered."

Chloe playfully nudged him, a smile tugging at her lips. "No, not at all. I just think it's important for Trixie to have a strong relationship with both of her parents. And I trust you, Lucifer. I know you'll take good care of her."

Lucifer's expression softened, his voice filled with sincerity. "Thank you, Chloe. I promise I'll do everything in my power to make sure Trixie feels loved and safe when she's with me. She means the world to me, just like you do."

Chloe reached out and took his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I know you will, Lucifer. And I'm grateful for that. Trixie is lucky to have you as her father."

A small smile formed on Lucifer's lips as he leaned closer to Chloe. "And I'm lucky to have you as her mother. We make quite the team, don't we?"

Chloe nodded, her heart swelling with love for both Lucifer and Trixie. "Yes, we do. So, how about we start with Trixie staying over at your place every other weekend? We can adjust the schedule as we go along and see what works best for all of us."

Lucifer nodded, his eyes shining with excitement. "That sounds perfect, Detective. I can't wait to spend more time with our little devil."

Chloe laughed, her heart feeling lighter knowing they were making this decision together. "Our little devil indeed. I think Trixie will be thrilled when we tell her."

As they continued discussing the logistics of Trixie's visits, Chloe couldn't help but feel a sense of happiness and contentment. She knew that this decision would bring them closer as a family and create beautiful memories for Trixie.

And so, with their hearts full of love and anticipation, Chloe and Lucifer made plans to ensure that Trixie's visits to Lucifer's place would become a regular and cherished part of their lives.
