After a wonderful evening and a night of hot, passionate love making Champ had taken Liam back to Kan and Kiri's house the following morning and reminded him that if he wanted to stay with him, he was more than welcome.
Liam had said he would clear things with Kan and Kiri first and he would get in touch later with his answer then Champ had gone to work not that he had got much done turning up just before lunchtime.
Ian had received word that Phikhuam was flying in, just in time for the big barbecue event at Kan's parents and Ian's mum had invited Phikhuam to stay with them but he'd had to decline saying that his presence might cause them problems if the press found out.
Funnily enough, no one had recognized Liam during his stay in Willow's Brook or even when he had journeyed to London and back but even so Phikhuam had opted to stay under the protection of Kiri and Kan in their secure home.
Ian had to wonder just how their "relationship" that hadn't even started properly was going to fare if Phikhuam was going to be like this, to be honest, people in a tiny rural village in the north of England probably wouldn't even know who he was.
Later that day, Liam had texted Champ and agreed to stay with him indefinitely in his beautiful home and Kan and Kiri were overjoyed for him that their relationship at least was moving up a notch and they had been more than happy to help.
Champ collected Liam from Kan and Kiri's house on the Thursday night after he finished work and he went to have a quick look at the hedgehogs at the top of the field to see how they were. Apparently Phikhuam was arriving sometime tomorrow, for how long nobody knew but Kan, Champ and Andy knew that Ian was having second thoughts about entering into a relationship with him.
Arriving home after his vacation that had turned into a working holiday and coming back to reality had made him see things a little clearer, there was no denying their mutual attraction but he couldn't see how they could go forward.
Champ, Kan and Kiri hadn't seen much of Lon and Andy who had been holed up in Andy's house for several days. It soon transpired that they had both been sick and Ian had been dropping by to care for them, nothing serious, just a bug but they had needed to rest and luckily they would both be better in time for Saturday.
The small circle of friends and their extended family members, Sheila, Sucharit and Ian's mum Betty were a force to be reckoned with, they were always supportive of each other just as friends and family should be.
Kiri's head of security, Chit would be flying in with Phikhuam and he was bringing Paitoon with him so they would no doubt stay for the big match and subsequent barbecue, it promised to be a fun weekend.
On Friday night, Champ took Liam with him to have a drink with the guys from work but Beck's wasn't there. He told them about the conversation he'd had with Becky in the office on Wednesday morning which also alleviated any concerns that Liam might have had.
The plan was to install a larger unit while she was away affording her a more comfortable office space complete with a sofa and coffee table. He would place the existing unit at the bottom of the yard for the guys to make drinks etc so they wouldn't need to mess up the main office, it would be solely Becky's space.
He would place another unit beside her office with an interconnecting door and that would be his office and in the yard he was having the men's bathroom re-modelled and installing a shower and if the guys wanted to use the shower they could bring their own towels.
It was time, Champ had to agree they had been roughing it for far too long and he owed it to his team to provide a more comfortable working environment.
