I don't know what happened.... She is gone and I am alone...... If anyone can hear me, please help my sister. Take me..... Not her....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I fell onto the ground. I don't know what to think anymore. Liz is dead, my sister is gone, because of me. All of this is my fault. "Oh my gosh..... April? Are you......" Before Alex could finish, I put my hand up, to tell her to stop. "This is all my fault..." I whispered. "Where is she? Let me go!" I heard across the river. I look up to see Adam standing there, at the edge of the bank. He had a scared and worried expression. "April, you need to come with me, before something you regret happens," Max tells me. "What do you mean? MY SISTER JUST DIED IN FRONT OF ME! How could it get any worse.......?" She gave me a look that no words could ever describe. I look back at Adam, who was now on the ground sobbing. "Adam?" I scream across of the river. He looks up to me, with a blank expression, then puts his head back down on the grass. "April, we need to go back." "Why? What is going on?" I say, with tears running down my eyes. I was confused, and hurt. Not a good combination  for me. I look at everyone, who was giving me a sorry look. As I try to speak, Adam jumps across the bank in his wolf form, and when he gets to me, he turns back. "What is going on......?" "Listen," Adam said in tears, "I need you to listen. Don't do anything, just listen. Ok?" "Ok." "When your family moved here, I found your sister wondering around the woods by your house. I turned her into a wolf, because she was.... Your not.." My eyes started to water, and I could feel my face turn red. "Adam? What are you not telling me?" "You are not... I'm not..... We are not mates... When I turned your sister, I found my mate. Her." I fell to the ground, and started bawling. I didn't know what to think, or do. I stood up, and as hard as I could, punched Adam, and I think I felt a couple of his teeth come loose. I looked at my two "friends." "Did you know about this?" 'The whole pack knew..." Alex replied. I looked at the sky, and held back every nerve I had in my body to rip all the heads of I could. I turned into a wolf, jumped over the river and ran. I knew this time where I was going. I was going home. Where my mom, dad, and sisters who where left were. I wanted to sleep in my bed, in my room, and just empty my mind in my room. So I ran. Until I got to the street did I stop and turn into a human, which I was still sobbing. As I approached my house, I saw my little sisters playing outside in our front yard. They looked up and just saw a stranger, so they turned into little pups and started barking as loud as they could, until my dad came outside with a shotgun. "April? Is that you?" I ran and threw my arms around him, still crying over his shoulder. We walked inside with my sisters, and I sat down in a ball in the corner of our couch. I explained what happened, and my mom busted out crying. I told them how Adam wasn't really my mate, and how I ran away from my pack. "I don't know about being a wolf, but I do know you are not suppose to run away from your pack. You stay with them no matter what."Although I didn't like it, my dad was right. "But what about one of the evils telling me that 'he' was my mate?" "He probably wanted you to be hurt. To turn on your pack and join them." It all made sense. Adam didn't want me to be hurt, so he just played along. As I was thinking, there was a forcible knock on the door. I ran out of our living room and up the stairs to my room, as my dad threatened my pack. Max and him were yelling about how my sent led to here, so I hid. Not a very smart idea, but I did. I love Adam, but he was just playing me, like a puppet. The pack came in, and started looking for me. It was no use to look inside, because I hid on the roof. I was fine until I felt a hand grab my shoulder. I grabbed the person's foot, knocking them down, and held them to where they didn't fall. "UNCLE! UNCLE!" Max screamed. "What do you want? You want to hurt me some more?" I asked. I let go of her foot and helped her up, where she sat by me. "Listen. I know you won't believe me, but I do know who your real mate is." "Your right. I don't believe you." Max then gave me a look, where there was a sparkle in her eyes. I then knew she was telling the truth.
