Chapter 2

Jordan's POV

Me and Danyelle left. I takes about 30 minutes to reach the gates of the kingdom then 10 to reach the castle. We walked side-by-side not saying a single word. A bunch of other people were running past us to get to the castle. Danyelle finally spoke up. "Why does it have to be us. This whole Ianite thing." She spoke in a whisper so only I could hear. I didn't answer. I just shrugged my shoulders. She stopped walking. "You always do that. You just shrug. What's with shrugs. Do your shoulder feel like 'Hey let's just move up so the mouth and vocal chords don't have to move.' Like really you ALWAYS shrug." I looked over to her. "You are the biggest idiot in the world you know this right? Your mad cause I shrugged."
She playfully punched my arm. "Your a jackass." I sarcastically gasped. "Danyelle Rachel Maron, you know better then to curse." (I looked up to see if that is a real person. She is not.) Sonja ran right past us then 5 seconds (of summer) later Tucker ran past us. Sonja climbed up a tree easily. Tucker yelled. "That's not fair. Your half fox. I can't climb trees." Sonja stuck out her tongue and hung upside down from a branch. We walked passed them. We also saw the Wizards messing around. Waglington was one of the top students in the school. He was very secretive. He always wears a cloak. The only thing that you could see on his face is to blood red stripes coming from what we think his eyes. I did research on what we think he was. He was ethier a platypus or a weeping angel. We felt pretty strong on the weeping angel idea. A terrifying creature, and deadliest of assasins; The weeping Angels are very old and without mercy. So we tend to stay away from him and his group of wizards. There are rumors that they are 64 centuries old. And I believe it. Tom and Nadshoot were trying trip each other while walking. Both of them succeed and ended up on falling on each other. Danyelle did a slight giggle and blushed. Ughhhhhhhh. She's had a crush on him since 3rd grade. It was as pretty sickening. I felt something brush against my arm and it was called. I saw a girl. I her name was Allie but people called her FrostByte. It suited her. She would always have a cold feeling towards her skin and she would always wear a coat with fancy fur and all that (just look at the photo. And yes I stole that from bad blood, but shhhhhh) she always hung out with her friend Abbey or also know as Shadow. They weren't related but when me and my sister where only in 7th grade They came to the village looking for refuge. They came from a town called Eldwood.(that's is actually a place in IL. Just looked it up.) It is known for having the top assassins growing up there and trained. It was burned down. I remember in P.E. Once in Freshman year it was are first class on hand to hand combat. It was very vital that we worked on this. This course was taking very seriously. You had to knock out the person then the match would end. It was one match at a time and Shadow and Tom were first. Let me tell you this Tom has never lost. He was very strong and swift. So when we saw this fight we knew that we were in trouble. In 10 seconds flat Shadow had Tom in a headlock and he just fainted. My eyes were wide open cause I had to go against FrostByte next and she was stronger then Shadow so I was pissing myself. We were on the mat then coach blowed the whistle. She ran towards me and tackled me down I kicked my legs off her and jumped up she did that thing were she was lying down and kicked herself up. I had my fists up and so did she. I took the first hit and she blocked she hit me once in the stomach. I crouched over pretending I was hurt. I heard my sister yell saying I could do better than that. Just before FrostByte could slam her knee in my face I grabbed her head and smashed in my knee. I had such great speed that it knocked her out with the biggest nose bleed I've seen. I turned over to the rest of the class and hopped down the mat. They just had their mouths wide open and we're just in complete shock. Danyelle laughed. "Did she even hurt your stomach?" I shock my head. "You sneaky little bastard!!! That's awesome." That was a crazy day. Me and her have those short conversations still and we joke around how I beat her once but since then we haven't really talked. She is fun and energetic and best friends with Tom. Shadow on the other hand. Well she is like Wag. She is smart and strong. And doesn't really talk. She has jet black hair with red eyes. I liked them they looked cool. She hangs with wizards a lot and is dating Wag. No surprise there. But anyway when she brushed against my shoulder she turned towards me and said. "Please don't hurt me and knock me out. I've done nothing wrong." I could
feel the sarcasm in the air. "That's your last warning don't ever do it again." I said putting as much sarcasm as she did. We bursts out laughing are butt off. "I'm surprised you haven't gotten back at me for knocking you out." She shrugged. "One day Sparkly pants. One day." She went off to talk to Tom who was still on the ground. Shadow went to the Wizards and was next to Wag. I saw Champwan reading a book and walking with Declan next to him. They were relaxed and walking. Then something strange happened. Tom came over here and walked in the middle of me and Danyelle. "Isn't this exciting!!!! We are going to get new lives and everything. Yeah. lied and said Mianite. "Boooooooooo Mianite sucks." Tucker and Sonja turned "Tom shut up!" They yelled in unison. He rolled his eyes. "Anyways, Crimson who do you think your gonna follow?" She coolly spook. "I'm hoping for Dianite. Then at least they'll have one bad ass and smoken hot chick on that side." He smirked "If you do make Dianite, there well be 2 bad asses and smoken hot people." He winked and walked off. "What the actual fuck just happen?" Danyelle turned towards me. I just shrugged. "Stop with your fuckin shrugging!!! I'm going to murder you one day!!!" I just laughed. "But seriously. What just happened. Did he just call me a bad ass and smoken hot chick?" I turned towards her. "First thing I'm not your bff where you can talk about girly things and second I think he did." She turned behind us where he is now. He just winked back at her again. "That's not weird at all." She squealed. "That took why too many years for him to notice me." I rolled my eyes. "I doesn't matter anyways cause we won't see him for a quite bit of years from now." She looked down at her shoes. "I know." I looked at her. "Also to answer your question from earlier. I think it's just fate." She sighed. "Well fate sucks." I got a good chuckle from that. "Let's just hope everything well workout fine." She nodded in agreement.
