Chapter 1 - The Start of a Journey

A/N: Please read this so you can understand this Wattpad.
Bloom and Venti are siblings. Bloom was 24 at the time and Venti was turning 25 this time of the year. Both of them have kept in touch over the years in various ways like using technology and letters

Bloom's POV:
Hi, my name is Bloom and I am writing things down because Miss Faragonda told me it would help me in a tough situation and she said that she would give me a pizza party and Stella can't say no to that. So here I am writing events that happen to us.

This all started on June 9th. The day seems normal. There is nothing out of place or a feeling that something might go wrong. That day, me and my friends decided to visit my friend Flora's sister on her planet called Linphia. I was planning to visit my brother Venti on his birthday next week.
I had already planned a present for him for his birthday. I was excited that he would finally come home after he had graduated from college and made a successful music career in Germany.
He was 6 years old when I was adopted by my parents on Earth when they found me. We were inseparable. Up until he went to college when I was 16 that is. But the point is I was excited to meet my brother after all these years finally.
"Finally Summer break! I feel like it has been forever since our last adventure" Stella was stuffing all her clothes into her suitcase.
"Yea. I guess it's been a while since we had an adventure" Aisha joined in through the door.
"Let's hope it stays that way. I can't wait to go to your planet  Flora!" Little that me and my friends know that everything will go wrong tomorrow.
“Is that a present for me Bloom” Stella was pointing in a direction to my bed.
“Present?” I looked around to see what she was pointing at and found out she was pointing at my brother’s present for his upcoming birthday.
“Oh, this? This is my present for my brother!”
“Your brother? How come we’ve been friends for 8 years and we don’t know you had a brother.” Techna came into my room looking surprised by my statement
“We’ve kept in touch over the years, I guess you guys weren’t there when I was writing my messages.”
“What is his name?” Aisha asked crossing her arm when she went through my room leaning on the wall.
“Venti,” I replied shortly
“Wait, doesn’t ‘venti’ mean wind in roman? Why is brother’s name wind?” Musa was looking at me confusedly.
“I honestly don’t know. I guess I’ll add that to my list of questions for my parents.” I replied as I remembered the old times when I used to be by his side. Copying whatever he did.
It's no secret that I admire him greatly. After all who wouldn’t? He’s cool, funny, caring, and easy to get along with.
“Do you guys want to go shopping? I need a new fabric for my new design”
“Alright then, all in favor of all of us companying Stella when she goes shopping?” Techna raised her hand which was unusual. I guess she was in a good mood at that moment.
We all raised our hands and with that, we all hung out at the mall.
Me and my friends were having a wonderful time in Alfea that day. We went shopping and helped some folks around the town and hung out. Everything feels like it has been resolved. And that is where I was wrong. We don’t even realize that day has already passed by and we need to go to the ship.
The next morning we went to The Planet Linphia and everything was going fine until we got to Flora's home.
“Oh, I can’t wait to see my parents again.”
“Is it me or did Linphia become more beautiful when we last go here.” Stella was looking out the window watching the beautiful green scenery.
“It has been 3 years since we last got here as a group” Techna looked back at us from the captain seat.
“Wh-what’s going on there!?” Aisha was pointing to Flora’s home. But instead of a grand and beautiful castle, we were greeted by unknown monsters.
Everyone was panicking at that time we went near the palace. Although not in a good way. Monsters appeared out of nowhere. All of us had never seen before, and they were attacking Flora's home. Even Techna don't know what they are (Which only happens sometimes). Since that day everyone called it the "Rift" as it all started when a hole that has the color black as the abyss with stars that seemed like it were straight out of space, suddenly ripped off the ground.
Me and my friend went to the ground as fast as possible to help the citizens from the unknown monsters.
"Winx Cosmix"
Everyone transforms and gets to work. But all the monsters that came out of the hole seemed to be too powerful
“They don’t seem to give up, don’t they?”
“Stella focused on the fight!”
“I think they’re immune to our magic? How?” Techna was on my right fighting her own set of monsters.
“Whatever it was, we need to act fast.” Before I could even come up with a plan Flora was screaming to my left. When I looked at where Flora was, she was trapped in a bubble by a mage.
The monster was about nine feet tall and was wearing a white mask with a robe that had a pattern at the end. It was holding a wand making it look like a mage from a fantasy.
“FLORA!” I shouted as I raced toward Flora to free her as the mage said some kind of spell right beside me.
“Bloom, watch out!” Aisha pushed me as she got trapped in the bubble the mage-like monster had summoned.
I then go to the mage-like monster who seems to be relaxing in the corner of the palace and try all my most powerful spells. But alas to no avail.
“Musa, Techna try to set them free. I’m going to deal with this one.” I acted tougher than what I feel like for their sake. The truth is, I was scared like the little kid I used to be. When I used to be bullied by some rich girl down the street. While my brother defended me and helped me. The difference is my brother didn’t defend me or help me.
The mage-like monster has a water shield that protects him from my attacks. I was spending all my energy just to break its shield.
Thankfully the bubble popped. Flora and Aisha don't look so good though. More monsters then emerged as the mage-like monster made bubbles everywhere as he recited some sort of a spell. It seems to be distracting us from attacking it. The mage reformed that stupid shield again. I hate shields. Whoever makes the concept of that shield, I am sorry but I hate you.
It's hard to accept that fact after what we've been through and the struggle we have to face only to be defeated by a bunch of strange-looking monsters that look fuzzy and weak. They won't back down whatever we do to them.
"Bloom what do we do?" Musa asked me while fighting the monsters with all our power
Everyone was exhausted and we had to bring Aisha and Flora back to the infirmary so they could heal. Since everyone had evacuated we decided to retreat. Part of the Linphia was lost on that day.
We flew to the survivors who had survived the incident. Flora's mum and dad along with her little sister hugged Flora while we told everyone what happened. One guy shouted at us saying
"So you are going to do nothing at it?! We lost our home where are we supposed to go?! I thought the Winx was all-powerful! What happened to THAT!"
Everyone then started protesting when Flora's mum, the queen tried to calm everyone the best she could. She said,
"Everyone calm down I'm sure the Winx has done all that they can do for now."
"What are you going to do than Winx? I mean the all-powerful Winx Club"
"Hey, we tried everything we could there. The monsters are just too ..." Before Stella could finish her sentence the guy spoke again.
"Storng? I guess the winx isn't STRONG and ALMIGHTY as they say."
I was embarrassed, angry, and ashamed of myself but a part of me said everything that guy said was true.
We then help them as much as we can do to the survivors. I can still see the damage and monsters were still walking around. And we LET it happen. As I was thinking this Techna and the gang approached me.
"UGH, those monsters. I am going to give it a piece of my mind when we meet again" Musa said agrily
"We need help. We need SERIOUS help." Aisha said mad at the situation
"Then it's time to upgrade. We can just stand around and do nothing!" I was tired but I still wanted to help.
"Then this is going to be the start of our new adventure. Let's start with asking Miss Faragonda about those things."
"Yeah, Miss Faragonda usually knows what these things are maybe we can find their weak spot, and BAM! We save the planet and we can have our title back!"
"Stella..."
"Musa's right. We don't need to worry about our title now not when- I don't know- maybe when those monsters leave Linphia for good"
At that time we were tired we don't usually fight but at that moment we were at our lowest time.
"That's enough Aisha" Techna yelled looking annoyed. She was looking for information about the monsters we face but had yet to be successful.
“You girls should rest I would take care of the nobles here. But please take care. When are planning to leave?” Flora’s other the queen, stepped forward with Flora and her husband, the king, by her side.
“At first daylight” Techna informed the queen with a fierce tone.
“Alright then, rest up. You will need it for your journey.” With that, the queen left us.
Me and my friend then go to sleep, watching the night sky above us. Despite Stella’s complaining we didn’t go to the palace since it is still invaded by monsters. I was sadly the last one to sleep, thus hearing everyone individually snore.
I dreamed that night. I haven’t told anyone this not even Daphne, my sister, know about this. Only my half-brother knows about this. I usually see what is happening outside my body, like seeing someone I missed seeing my friends even though they are on the other side of the planet we were exploring, or sometimes seeing the future. Although I was lucky this kind of dream doesn’t happen to me very often. But then again It always happens when something really important is happening or most of the time when something REALLY bad is going to happen. My brother also happens to have this gift as well but unlike me, he had this ALL THE TIME. When nothing important is happening, he wouldn’t dream.
But anyway, I unfortunately have that strange dream. Long story short it doesn't look good.
As I closed my eyes seeing the night sky above me, I began to close my eyes thinking about what lies ahead of our journey. I hope that my siblings and both of my parents had a great day and that this mess won’t happen to them or any other planet. As I close my eyes drifting away into a dream.

I was standing on a cliff though I didn’t know where or when I was at the time I was shortly interrupted from my train of thought by one of the harder and annoying monsters that kept on shooting us with bubbles trapping us in the process. Anyway, it has a white mask with a dark blue robe with a pattern on its bottom. It was bowing to someone calling him or her ‘my queen’ that I didn’t know who. The queen who wears a unique outfit, I have never seen before, starts to turn around to it.
I was honestly hoping I could see her face but I was woken up to reality by none other than my best friend Stella.
“Bloom… Bloom” The voice stopped for a while when suddenly someone screamed my name, waking me in a cold sweat.
“Morning Bloom,” Flora said as she and Aisha were preparing breakfast while Stella was standing beside me trying to wake me up.
“Wow, you slept well last night.” Musa was doing some yoga in the morning.
“What did you dream about? You seem to have a good dream to sleep that long.” Stella said as she helped me to stand on my feet.
“Oh, nothing important.” I lied, “So, what’s for breakfast?”
“Some French toast along with cereal,” Aisha replied as she put her and Flora’s work on the table I conjured up.
“This looks delicious!” Musa went to the table and sat down as Aisha used ‘morphic wave’ to conjure the chairs.
After we all ate we cleaned up and went to Alfea to look for Miss Faragonda. We went to her office and knocked. I can hear her making a call from someone. She seems to be distressed about something about monsters. When she allowed us to come in, we saw her table was a mess full of paper, books, and scrolls.
“Miss Faragonda, we want to ask you a question.” Stella was surprised to see her office covered with paper, scrolls, and mountains of books.
“What do you want to ask dear? But please make it quick. It seems that something’s going wrong with Limphia”
“You mean the monsters attack? Is that why there are so many scrolls here?” Techna asked Miss Faragonda as I was looking around feeling drawn into a part of the room. Thankfully no one noticed.
“Yes, I’m afraid that we are once again going to face a challenge.” Miss Faragonda said calmly, looking serious about the matter at hand.
She and Techna were discussing the situation with the others talking about the situation. While I was picking out a lock and suddenly found a device.
“Umm, guys. I found something.” The other eyes then were on me and saw the device I was holding.
“I’m sorry I didn’t pay attention. But, I think this can help us.” I then place the device.
Nothing happens for the first couple of minutes when a deep voice suddenly speaks and a hologram displays the word of what the voice spoke.
12 shall answer the call
To storm or fire,
The dragon must fall.
An oath to keep with the final breath
And foes bear arms to the mirror of the abyss.
While everyone was in sheer shock at what just happened, I luckily remembered the lines while Techna just straight-up recorded it. The video then stopped and the device exploded. Nobody made a sound for a good couple of seconds when finally, Stella broke the silence.
“What in the world was that!” Stella was pointing at where the video/voice was hologram.
With that, our adventure has officially started…
