Spring,

Chanyxu was grabbing Mai Dyi's arm and pointing to everything in the small town on the mountain. He wasn't pleased with being with her at the moment. As he just wanted to paint in his room. But nope. Chanyxu wanted to show him her favorite place.

"I'm gonna show you the best place to relax, Mai Dyi! You're gonna love it!" she squealed with joy. Mai Dyi groaned in annoyance.

"No thank you, Chanyxu." he yelped when she grabbed him further into town. Ignoring his complaints. He was getting annoyed. He regrets having her as a partner. She could tell that she was getting on his nerves. All she wanted was to be with him and have fun. Not alone. It was boring. Ignoring that pit inside of her. Telling her that she was wrong about how she was behaving.

As she dragged him around, Mai Dyi was getting more annoyed. Snatched his arm from her and sighed.

"Let me be alone and enjoy my day off with painting, Chanyxu. "

A guard gave Mai Dyi a letter to report to their lord. As he got a mission. Mai Dyi slowly turned his head and glared at Chanyxu. Who sheepishly looked away and rubbed the back of her head. As the chain clanks a bit.

"Thanks alot, Chanyxu." he said coldly. Walking off as she tries to catch up to him. But tripped over a rock and landed flat on her face. As she sees him walking away. And bumped into a person. And he was smitten by this person. Never once turn to look at Chanyxu.

Chanxyu was upset with herself. And slowly getting up off the ground. As everyone was walking around, busy with their day.

She is alone again.

Mai Dyi explained to their friends as they were having dinner together. That he was distracted by himself. And couldn't get it out of his kind. Chanyxu was stabbing at the food in her bowl with the chopsticks.

"You barely know her! So how do you know if she isn't good? Hmm!" she asked. Mai Dyi rolled his eyes.

"I'm getting to know her, Chanyxu!"

"She might not even like you." Like she does, Chanyxu likes him. And this person wouldn't like him like she does. Mai Dyi slams his hands on the table.

"You being a bitch about it! You don't know her either! Stop being jealous!"

Chanyxu had enough of him, threw her food in his face, and walked away. Everyone was silent during this moment. Watching the scene took place. His brother tries to calm his older brother down, but Mai Dyi sneered at her behavior, wiping himself.

Chanyxu pulled the cover over him. As they lay in the bed naked and covered in sweat. Marks and everything else, she looked at him. Stroking his cheek. As he turned in his sleep. This was not serious, only to fill the empty void between the both. And she was the second choice. Maybe they have a chance to be together.

Later on that day, Chanyxu was following Mai Dyi who ignored her the entire time. As she was background noise. Chanyxu huffed. As his mind was wandering back to that special person.

"Do you even hear me, Mai? Mai Dyi!?" she yelled after him as he took off with a grin on his face. Chanyxu went after him and called after him. Until she sees him and her together. Hugging each other. Their time together was indeed the void that needed to be filled for a while. Her heart was slowly breaking even more.

He was her only distraction from the loneliness and the only person that was there for her. Even it was a fleeting moment. But a moment that she cherished. As she wiped away the tears. As she sat down with everyone. Watching the wedding of the two getting married. Mai Dyi and Zema, the woman who got him distracted with himself.

Maybe, it was foul play from the start. On how she came out of nowhere. And making herself home within Mai Dyi's heart. She cried loudly, as everyone thought she was overreacting to the beautiful scene as they kissed. Nope. It was getting hard to tell for Chanyxu at the moment. But one thing that she wished for him. That he will be well and happy.
