Her.

I think everyone has a 'her' in their life. And it doesn't have to be romantic or sexual. She can simply be your mother, sister, or friend. In my case, my 'her' is my friend. And some might say that is something mighty big to claim or say about someone. Who could envelope a single word with such a strong meaning? It couldn't possibly be. But it is and will continue to be because I have her by my side.

'Her' is a label, and everyone has a general idea of a 'her', but who is she right now? Well, I'll tell you.

No amount of words could fit all of what she truly is, but I will try. 'Her' is beautiful. On the outside, she has soft and fair skin. Her hair is short and umber, almost grown out to a bob now with wispy strands that frame her face perfectly. And along with that a pair of hazel blue eyes that touch your soul in a way that's indescribable. They can strike your heart with affection and terror at the same exact time. Her smile and laugh are infectious, it makes your own bubble into your throat until you can't help but wheeze out in utter humorous hysteria. The blood in her veins runs with Greek descent. If not for the ancestors, she was blessed with the body of an ancient Greek statue. Men bow before her feet and pray to her, with her will, may only the best come of them. More than that, she is beautiful on the inside. Without hesitation, she will lend a listening ear or hand to those she loves. And when she loves, she loves deeply. So much so that the amount of love she gives could never compare to the amount of love she should be getting. She feels so deeply, whether it's happiness, anger, sadness, grief, contentment, or something along those lines, there is no room for unauthenticity. With everything she is, she feels and feels others. But she knows her limits and knows when to say something if someone were to take that for granted.  She turns those feelings into a formidable resistance in response of knowing her worth. In my eyes, she is a goddess. Capable of wielding the world in her hands and having the ability to do whatever she pleases with it, but looking and saying 'I choose peace.' 'She is a grace and terror. 'Her' is a light.

And that's who 'her' is right now.
