As the horses followed the dragons north, the sun began to set, painting the small patches of snow a glossy pale orange. After leaving the frigid grove biome, the group stumbled upon a small windswept hills forest.

"This should be a good place to set up camp!" Krystal called out.

Neptune and Tundra nodded before fluttering down to the ground. The teens stopped before a small cave that didn't go far into a mountain before them. Blake and Julia hopped off the horses, quickly made some torches, and placed them around the small cave. Shane and Krystal dismounted their steeds and brought them next to the cave, tying them to a nearby log.

"Let's make a campfire and get some food cooking," Shane said, "We'll need it if we're waiting until nightfall."

"Thinking back to what the book said, it said that the only way to find the cave is when the moon is at its peak," Krystal said, "My guess is that we need to head out around midnight."

"I was thinking the same." Tundra said.

The two dragons walked up to the small cave and sat down.

"Blake, Julia, you two stay here," Shane said, "Krys and I are gonna get some wood for a campfire. Tundra, can you help us?"

"Gladly." Tundra said, standing up.

"I will watch over Blake and Julia." Neptune said.

"Thanks, Neptune." Krystal said.

After Shane and Krystal grabbed their axes, the teens walked deeper into the forest with the Snow Dragon in tow and the orange sun setting behind them. As they weaved through the woods, Shane approached a tall oak tree and knocked on the trunk.

"Tundra, think you can bring this tree down?" Krystal asked.

"Sure can," Tundra said, "Stand back, guys."

Heeding the dragon's warning, the teens stepped away from him and the tree. Then, the Snow Dragon breathed a cold breath that froze the tree's base. When Tundra slashed the tree's bottom, the ice shattered and tipped over the tree.

"Timber!" Tundra cried.

When the tree fell, it kicked up some dust, leaving a partially frozen stump.

"This is perfect," Shane said, "Thanks, Tundra."

"My pleasure." he said.

Krystal tossed her diamond axe before catching it as she approached the tree. The girl raised the axe before bringing it down on the tree's trunk, splitting the trunk by a lot. Shane gripped his diamond axe before copying his friend. After a while of chopping, the two teens gathered all the needed logs before returning to camp with Tundra in tow. As they walked back, the sun was no longer in sight, and the silver moon was out. When they arrived, the older teens couldn't help but smile at the sight. Blake and Julia were huddled against Neptune's side as the Ocean Dragon was coiled around them, all sleeping peacefully while Neptune's scales pulsated a faint light.

"They look so cute together like that." Krystal said.

"Yeah," Shane said, "Let's get this fire going so they can at least eat something."

Agreeing with their friend, the older teens made a campfire. Krystal pulled a flint and steel from her pocket and struck them together next to the logs. When the logs caught fire, Shane lined the campfire's outer rim with raw salmon. While Shane was cooking, Krystal walked over to Toronado and Ash and pulled two apples and two carrots from her bag. She walked in front of the horses and presented them with the food.

"Here you go, guys," Krystal said, "You've more than earned it after today in the snow."

The horses snorted before eating the food from the girl's hands. When the horses finished their meals, Krystal returned to the black-haired teen and sat beside him.
