We stand equally around the swimmingly pond decorated with lily pads, koi fish, and frogs, that are croaking in harmony. You brighten, from the christmas lights wrapped around the deck, to the stars dangling above our heads like halos. Your hair swayed, but there was no wind. Your smile deepen as you seen the chrysanthemum flowers scattered on the fresh dew grass in front of us.

" isn't it beautiful?" you say, turning to me, I smile, "your right, it is beautiful." You glance every once in a while, then eventually continue talking.

"I came here when I was younger, with my parents. We would wait till nighttime, which was the perfect time, to go see this exact pond, however all I wanted to do is pick up flowers." You laugh, then silence croaks.

"I haven't been here in years, after my parents d-, I never came back. I thought it would bring back too many memories unfortunately it did. " Your voice crack, that graceful light voice you have and use so wisely, is hiding a vulnerable girl with nobody here to save her at all.

I'm going to be the one to change that.
