Lost game (Fluff)

You walked through the corridors away from the infirmary with gritted teeth and clenched fists. You kept your distance from some other students in the hallways but you couldn't avoid hearing their conversation.''Man, (y/n) lost big time'', a third-year laughed but immediately shut up when he spotted you throwing daggers at him with your eyes.

It was so annoying. (Y/n) had the lead with 150 to zero points and you were so close to catching the snitch when you suddenly collided with a falling chaser from the other team. Obviously, the opposing seeker saw the opportunity and took it, whilst his team somehow also scored their first goal.

Losing by ten points after leading like that made you so utterly frustrated. You roared your heart and soul into the game and you never felt like such a failure. Getting knocked out by a human before basically touching the snitch was just so embarrassing.

You practically stomped around the corner when you walked into something hard.

''Bloody fucking hell what the actual fu-'', you started rambling about, ready to throw some hands.

With your brows drawn together, you looked up, your (e/c) eyes meeting grey ones.

''(Y/n), there you are. Why are you out of the infirmary?'', a worried voice asked me.

To your delight, it was Draco, not some random guy who would probably make fun of you.

You didn't say anything and just let yourself fall into his chest, his arms sneaking around you into a warm hug.

''Sweetheart, how are you feeling?'', he whispered into your ear while stroking your hair.

His tender touch and his strong arms holding you close made you realize how tense and pent-up you were. One minute ago you just felt angry and now you had to fight back tears. The anger that previously overshadowed any other feelings, faded when you bumped into Draco, being soothed by his gentle and loving embrace.

You blinked profusely to cover the small tears that were trying to escape your eyes before looking up at his face.

''I'm alright. I just...'', you sighed, pushing your face into his chest before finishing your sentence, ''I just need a warm shower.''

You definitely would not cry in the middle of a corridor full of students and you wouldn't bother Draco with your unnecessary feelings either.

''I know something that's much better than a warm shower'', Draco grinned as he took your face into his hands and caressed your cheeks with his thumb.

Your facade threatened to falter, that was really not what you needed right now.

''I'm sorry Draco but...'', you started, trying to not start crying on the spot. ''Not today, I'm not really in the mood.''

Even though you tried your best to blink away the tears forming in your eyes, these little shits still made their way down your cheeks. His expression switched from happy to worried in a split second.

''Oh, no, sweetheart, no, hey'', he began quickly and wiped away a few wet spots on your cheeks, ''that's not what I meant honey, I'm so sorry.''

You pulled yourself together again to save the crying for a more private setting and looked at your boyfriend.

''No?''

''No'', he chuckled slightly.

''I was thinking we could use the advantages of my prefect privileges to run a very hot bath with a lot of foam in the perfect bathroom. I will give you a massage and we'll have some snacks and you tell me about your day if you want, how does that sound?''
