On Salish' 14th birthday she reunites with Nidal her best friend but realises that she now feels he is more then a friend but does Nidal feel the same way about her...
Salish woke up on the morning of her 14th birthday. She didnt really feel like getting up so instead lay eyes open staring at the ceiling ."Happy Birthday my little Say Say" her mum said entering the room alongside hudson and jordan arms full of presents from various relaives.
She sat up and opened them one by one , from her parents a eyeshadow palette, a gift card, a white hoodie and some candles. From Hudson an amazon gift card and a photo album. She opened all the presents from various relatives aunts uncles grandparents etc.
Finally she arrived at the last two presents. Opening the first one it read, dear salish happy birthday from the wonders xxx, she opened the pink parcel from them, a set of her favourite perfumes. she opened the last card and it read, To my beautiful bestie Salish have a great day love jiji, the present was in a small white box. She opened it carefully to reveal a small gold bracelet carved with jiji and Salish.
She loved all her presents but was a tiny bit disapointed she had nothing from Nidal. She appreciated her families efforts but she still really missed him.
"Say theres one more gift for you downstairs so get dressed quickly then come down to the living room" Jordan said giving her a hug then leaving the room along with Hudson and Lauren. She slipped on some black leggings a grey top and her new hoodie.
