Hopes and Dreams

Life for me Emily Lance is hard because I'm a seventh grader in high school as a freshman because the school I used to go to claims I'm too smart to be in a seneth grade class. But don't worry I like it here. Don't get me wrong it's not the hardest thing for me that's trying to keep my eyes off the handsome Chase Benson. We've had all the same classes I just hope he has the same feelings for me. Oh and by the way Chase is my hopes and dreams.

In the middle of class I get interuped by my best friend Aslynn Hights texting me saying, " OMG I can't wait for SUMMER!" I look up at her smile and text back," I know right. Summer is so close yet so far away. I hear her phone buzz and luckily no one else dose.

A couple minutes later my phone buzzes. "Emily, Chase is soo staring at you." As I read the text I get butterflies, then I look over to Chase and see him staring at me with that cute smile he always gives me when we are around each other.

I've had a crush on that blue eyed, dark brown haired, tan Chase since the beginning of the school year. I wonder if he has the same feelings for me.

When the bell rings Ashlynn gives me the look which means to go talk to Chase. And I give her the are you insane look. So I go to my locker and open it and then Chase asks me of we could talk after school. And of cores I said yes.

(Skip to the end of the school day.)

I walk outside to find Chase and out of nowhere I get hit in the face by a football. Jack, my older cousin, runs up to me and says, "Emily I'm so sorry. I was trying to through the ball to Aaron." I looked over at my older brother Aaron who just waved at me then I look back at Jack and say,"It's ok...but next time through the ball a little higher so you don't hit anyone else with the ball." I said to him. He smiled then I looked around and standing under a tree smiling at me.

I walk over to him and say, "So I guess you saw me get hit in the face with the football." I said smiling at the fact that I was talk to Chase. "Yeah and I bet of you saw it coming you would've caught it." He said standing there. "Hmh...I think so too. So what did you want to talk about?" I said looking at the beautiful green grass as I sat down under the tree.

"Well let's just say this guy has had a crush on this new girl ever since the begining the year. And this guy wants to know if she has the same feelings for him. What does he do?" He says after sitting down next to me. Him saying that gave me butterflies. "Well I think that he should just tell her how he feels and maybe she'll say that she feels the same way." I said looking him in the eyes so he new that what I said came from the heart. "Well okay...Emily",he said looking me in the eyes,"I've had a crush on you ever since I laied my eyes on you. And I was wondering if you could give me a chance to price to you that I can be your one and only." At that moment I didn't know what to do so I said "I told you she would feel the same way."

We just smiled at each other and then his older brother Jackson came over and Jackson just smiled at us and said to Chase "I told you she would feel the same way."
