Hopes and Dreams

chapter 3

After I got home from the park I couldn't stop thinking about Chase. He's so perfect and I'm to be able to call him my boyfriend.

"Emily get ready we're going out to dinner with the Benson's." I hear my mom yell. I look at my phone and I had gotten a text from Chase saying that our families were going out to dinner tonight. I just smiled and texted back "Ya I know my mom just told me."

I looked at what time it was and started getting ready. I put on my light blue dress with white lase at the top, put my light blue vans on, curled my hair, put on a little bit of makeup on, and put my infinite heart braselet on.

I grabbed my phone and went down stairs to see if my parents were ready. When my parents finished getting ready we got in the car and I text Chase,"We're on our way:)."

Fr Chase:

"Ok see you when you get here."

After five minutes of being in the car I looked over to Aaron who looked somewhat nervous. I wonder why? I'm the one who should be nervous. I'm meeting my boyfriends parents and siblings if Chase has any.

"What are you thinking about?" I ask Aaron as he looks at his hands.

"I don't know I guess I'm just nervous." He said not making eye contact with me.

"Why there's nothing to be nervous about." I said trying to reassuer him.

"Yeah there is. I have a major crush on Chase's older sister." I looked at him surprised. Why didn't he tell me this before?

"Don't worry and be you. Because when you pretend to be someone you're not it always goes wrong." I said trying to give him edvice.

"Ok thanks sis." He said with a smile.

I just gave him a smile back and we were at the dinner place. When we walked in we looked for Chase's family and when we found them I sat next to Chase and Aaron sat next to Chase's sister Skyler. After Aaron and I sat down our parents sat down next to his parents.

After dinner Chase and I went on a walk down by the beach. We sat down in the sand and watched the sun set. When the sun had fully set I looked to Chase who was just staring at me. Our eyes met then I felt myself leaning in. I closed my eyes as our lips made contact and after about five or six seconds we both pulled away with smiles on our fases.

After a while of staring at each other we walked back to the restaurant and found our parents. My mom said that her and my dad where going out of town and asked if I could stay with Chase and his family for a few days.
