Ok so I changed the front cover of this book because I realised the other one is used quite frequently but the art is still not mine so don't come at me. Anyway the only ships are drarry and a bit of pansmione idk if I'll include blairon but even if there is, it won't be a lot.

Edit: just so you know in this au Harry and Pans are besties, just wanted to make that clear as I didn't include that for some reason..
Harry's pov
Ok so at the moment I'm waiting for Pansy and I know what you're probably thinking. One why am I friends with her and two why am I meeting her. If that wasn't what you were thinking I don't fucking care but if that was what you were thinking here are the answers:). Well me and Pansy are basically besties. It all started when she came up to me at lunch one day and dragged me out of the Great hall. She suddenly asked me who I liked and if you didn't know the person I like is one of her best friends, the Draco Malfoy. Now I didn't want to like make it awkward so I said I didn't know. She was about to say something and then a whole load of students flooded out of the Great hall indicating it was the end of lunch. She gave me a suspicious look and told me to meet her after I finished my last lesson. For some reason I listened and she found out in less then a minute that I liked Draco. However the funny thing is instead of an awkward silence like I expected she went all over the place and was literally crazy and said something about some kind of ship being official. After that we started hanging out more and turns out she knows more about muggles than I thought. She knew about alot of the food that wasn't quite served in the Great hall and one thing she loves particularly is pizza. We made friendship bracelets and everything and we've been best friends for like a month. Well now to answer the second question which isn't that complex. I'm simply meeting Pansy to discuss about the upcoming ball. There's a ball coming up for 8th and 7th years so that something good can finally happen after the war. Pansy was super excited and told me to meet her at the new astronomy tower so that's what I did. I'm now silently waiting for her to show up as I reflect dearly about our friendship. "HARRY!" well I guess she's here now."OH MY GOODNESS I HAVE THE ABSOLUTE PERFECT IDEAS FOR THE BALL." I looked at her before asking a very valid question. "These preparations are for you right?" There was a loud silence as her grin grew wider. "Right...?" I said once more, well it looks like I'm done for. "Come onnn don't give me that look you'll look so gorgeous that Draco will want to snog that brains out of you, though he already does." The first part was a bit weird but the second got me up on my feet. "HE WHAT?" "Nevermind let's get these plans started shall we?" I sighed before dragging her next to me and sitting down to look at what her plans were. Every single time something new was added, my eyes grew wider. This was gonna be a... interesting experience.

Hermione's pov
I was sitting with Ron doing some homework, well more like I had finished and he was copying it when a thought crossed my mind. I've seen less and less of Harry every day and it's been getting concerning. Was he dating some girl we didn't know about? I decided to see what Ron thought. "Hey Ron?' "What is it?" He replied looking up from his parchment. "Don't you think we've been seeing less of Harry every day?" I asked as I saw a questioning look spread on his face. "I mean ye I guess but I mean I'm sure he's ok it's not like he's out snogging Ginny or something, thank goodness they're not dating anymore." I glared at him before picking a book from my bag and reading the pages. I definitely think Harry's dating someone but who could it be?

Draco's pov
Pansy had gone off for like the hundredth time this month and she said she was off to stalk Granger or something. I don't know but it wasn't so convincing. If it was like a one time thing then it would be but like I said this has happened for like the hundredth time this month and I'm getting concerned. Right now isn't the time to think about Pansy however, now's the time to think about an outfit that will surely impress Harry at the ball. We aren't enemies anymore but we don't talk as much. If I'm being honest I kind of liked it when we were enemies because I got to see his face close up every day and I got to talk to him, though we weren't really on good terms then. I went to my wardrobe and rummaged through a bunch of expensive pieces of clothing my mother had brought me. Mother not Father. Every since he had gone to azkaban I got rid of all the clothes he had give me which wasn't much by the way. I kept rummaging until I found something perfect, something I knew Harry would fall in love with instantly but I knew whatever he wore I was going to fall in love with easily because Potter always manage to look good and hot and cute and-. "Alright Draco I'm baackk" said Pansy, well it was a bit rude to interrupt my daily thoughts of Harry but whatever. "You seem cheery did Granger ask you out or something.?" I asked really concerned for her mental health. "No sadly not but I was just so happy to see her face you know? It's so perfect and cute and lovely-" "And you say I talk about Harry to much ." That was sure to shut her up. "Well you do! And as a matter of fact you never stop unlike me who knows when the boundaries have been reached." Well that was a bit rude so I turned away and headed down to the common room.

Harry's pov
Well I didn't think it would go that well but I guess Pansy does always have a plan. I decided to head to Hermione and Ron since I can't remember the last time I hung out with them but the one thing I couldn't get out of my head was the outfit plans for the ball. I really didn't want to wear what Pansy was going to make me wear but she said she would announce to the whole school that I liked Draco and I could NOT afford that so I agreed. Once I reached the fat lady portrait I whispered the password and entered to see Hermione read a book on the couch and Ron copying what was probably Hermione's work."Hey guys." I CASUALLY said , "HARRY GET YOUR ARSE OVER HERE NOW." Ron gave me a 'good luck' look and I returned a 'thank you' look before he resumed copying mione's work and I walked over to her. "Yes..?" I asked hesitantly, I knew this wouldn't go well. "Were have you been this past month." She questioned and I came up with the first thing that came to my mind. "I'm dating a girl." Hermione looked up with a smirk and Ron looked up in disbelief. "I KNEW IT"she screamed and I backed away before running up to my room in the dorms.

Time skip to ball because I'm tired, need to get this done and I'm lazy :)

Draco's pov
The ball has started and everyone seemed to be having fun. I was talking with Blaise but for some reason Pansy wasn't here yet. I looked over at the golden trio and Harry wasn't here either. Was there something going on between the two if them? Before I knew it Granger was walking up to me with Weasley and they both had suspicious looks on their faces."Hey uhmm Malfoy, do you happen to know where Parkinson is?" She asked a little crack in her voice. "No? Do you know where Harry is?" I asked as well
"No he's been disappearing a lot and he said he was dating a girl." My heart shattered. He was dating a girl and if both him and Pansy were disappearing did that mean.. Granger gave me a knowing look and walked away. Suddenly Pansy came bursting through the doors and she ran up to me "I know you're dating him " I said, I wanted to know the truth. "Who?" She asked confused "don't act dumb Pansy Harry of course!" I answered back as I felt tears in the corner of my eyes. "Oh Draco I'm not dating him we're friends just watch as he walks through the door." She said squealing with happiness. I watched confused and as Harry came out I almost fainted. He was wearing a tight red dress and a golden necklace as well as golden stud earrings. His hair was even more messed up which just added to everything and I could tell he was was wearing some sort of muggle makeup? He had a sort of fluffy gold scarf wrapped around his arms and he had red heels to finish everything off. I stared open mouthed as he walked up to Granger and Weasley and started talking. He had gathered most of the Halls attention and everyone was gaping at him. Pansy smirked and rushed over to the golden trio. Me and Blaise followed closely behind, my mouth still gaping in shock. "Hey Harry." Pansy said "Wait I thought you guys used second names did something change?" Asked Weasley, I had the same question as well. "We're best friends and have been for about a month." Harry replied smiling, that SMILLLE."And all this time I thought you two were dating." Granger said as her eyebrows shot up. "Well hey atleast you two can date now." Harry said with a smirk. Both Granger and Pansy went pink as the went next to eachother and started confessing or something. Weasley and Blaise were slowly slipping away and I think they were off to make out somewhere or some shit. That just left me and Harry."Wanna go outside?" He said as he grinned up at me. "Sure shortie" I said laughing. He softly hit me before following me, the faint click of his heels being heard among the loud noise if the Great hall. Once we reached outside we sat down in a beach and looked at the view. We were in a comfortable silence before Harry thought it was a good idea to sit on my lap and kiss me. Not gonna lie it was actually probably one of the best ideas he's ever come up with but I didn't want to admit that. Both of us happily kissed for a minut or so before withdrawing for air. "I love you." he said, those were the words I never imagined he would say to me. "I love you to will you be my boyfriend?" I asked a bit reluctant "Yes." He simply said before going back in and kissing me back. "Oh and you should wear a dress more often, you look hot." I said, seeing the blush spread from his cheeks to his neck. "Stop it.." he murmured before kissing me for the third time.

A/n
RRRR I WAS ALMOST AT 2000 WORDS THEN I HAD TO END IT CAUSE I COULDN'T THINK OF ANY MORE IDEAS. No I was just kinda lazy and need to sleep cause I haven't yet and it's currently 2:08😃. Anywayssss I made a mistake and it said shit instead of shot so if you see that pls DON'T tell me cause I'll correct it, like I said I'm just lazy and tired.(btw I need to sort out my grammar-)
