Chapter 9 [updated]

everyone rushed to the meeting table. 

''what? where? how? why?''

Jane put her hand on the table. ''everyone! i found it in navigation. i have one question: where were your asses exactly? i need a clue''

''me and Gary were heading to security to check cams. we saw nothing. then we headed to electrical. i watched him try to put it the spinning wheel thing.'' Katey said.

''me and Shiro were making out in the medical beds'' Y/n said.

''okay.... you were all on the opposite side of where the body was. so..... who could it possibly be?'' Jane said. 

while everyone was shrugging, Brown appeared behind Y/n. he was about to claw him, but he vanished when Y/n tilted his head. he quickly tilted his head back.

Jane then explained ''i was just in the reactor, trying to put in the goddamn numbers, then the reactor code. took me 3 minutes. then, i moved all the way to navigation. i heard the vents, but i didn't see anyone while i was going there''

everyone believed her. i mean, it's hard to argue with that when the body is on the other side of the map. Shiro and Y/n held hands and crossed their fingers.

Jane just stood there blankly. ''i can't choose. both seem true. i will skip.''

she skipped. BUT. and here is the epic climax.

Shiro and Y/n voted for Gary, while Gary and Katey voted for Shiro.

so yeah, everyone is safe. for like, 2 seconds.

Jane walks off to finish downloading. Gary and Katey held hands as they walked off to electrical. Shiro got ready to stab, but Y/n just walked over to Navigation. Shiro grabs his arm.

''what's wrong? this is our chance for a double kill'' she said.

''.......... i want to value this last bullet for Jane'' Y/n said.

''did you have a knife?'' 

''no''

''oh. don't worry, i'll take care of those two. take down Jane'' Shiro said, kissing his cheek and heading to electrical. Y/n blushed. he was willing to get dinner with her. he decided to get up close and personal with Jane while Shiro dealt with the idea.

he vented to the hallway near Navigation, then headed up next to Jane.

''hey Jane, ready to regret dumping me?'' he said.

''i have no regrets. you took Loki from me'' was Jane's response.

''shut up, bitchy pompous whiny... i can't think of another insult.'' Y/n said.

he used his last bullet to shoot Jane just as she ran past. he flipped the gun and put it back in it's hiding place. he whistled as he walked out. he decided to check on Shiro and help in any way he could. he sat next to the button, and ate a sandwich.

just as Katey and Gary were about to finally finish with their last task and moving out of security, Shiro turned off the lights. she stabbed Gary as he and Katey ran. after Katey fixed it, she found her boyfriend's body. she mourned him as she reported.

unfortunately for her, it was too late. the only other two left are Shiro and Y/n. the couple victoriously cuddled as they voted for Katey and sent into space.

but as they were about to call Benjamin, Brown ghost showed up. he attacked Shiro. Y/n, in a fit of rage, used his gun to swat the ghost. it passed through.

''bro i'm a ghost.'' Brown said.  but then, just as he's about to finish them off, Y/n told Brown to fuck off and leave, and Brown just sighed and leave. 

Y/n sat on the table. ''we did it.''

Shiro said ''yeah. we did it sweetie.''  then she texted Benjamin. then after 5 minutes of Shiro holding Y/n's hand and feeling happy Y/n was able to be more confident with himself, Benjamin and William arrived in a stolen dropship from the base [or their own? i'll let you pick] and picked them up.

as they jetted back to Impostor.CO HQ, Benjamin glanced at Shiro and Y/n staring at each other like they were hypnotized. he chuckled. William just smiled, some blood from his knife pouring.
