Giggles filled the lavender purple room. A king-size canopy bed sets on the right side of the room, purple lace bedspread untouched. The gigantic windows that allow the sun and its infinite light in the room are scattered along the lavender walls. Tea and cakes sit on an end table that radiate a sweet scent throughout the room. On the loveseat in front of a thirty-two inch Tv, sit two teenagers. One, a boy, with tan skin and wavy brown hair that falls to his shoulders. And two, a girl, with light skin and luscious dirty-blond curls. The girl is the source of the giggling sounds that are still filling the room. She opens her baby blue eyes to see the boys darkened hazel ones staring back at her. This is perfect.
A heavy knock sounded from the double bedroom doors. Both teenagers quickly separated. The boy scrambled to hide behind the couch, while the girl steadily stood up and walked toward the knocking sounds. She hesitantly opened the door, peeking her head out slightly, just in case. "Kimmy!" She looked to her right and the source of the aggressive knocking was revealed.
   "Kimmy" POV
"Miriam!" I replied. "We thought you were my parents." I quickly opened the door all the way and dragged her inside my room. After she was inside, I hastily closed the door again. "We?" She said back with a small, but visible smirk on her face. "Gabe." I said as I sighed. "You can come out, it's only Miriam." Gabe emerged from his hiding place and sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. It looked adorable. "Hey Miriam." He said. "You look very nice today." Gabe always compliments Miriam. He's still trying to prove he won't break my heart, how sweet. Also, he wasn't wrong. Miriam had her short black hair put up in a small bun and she was wearing one of her red sundresses. She looked radiant. Miriam replied with that same smirk on her face. "Hello Gabriel, and don't worry, I know." Gabe chuckled awkwardly, poor guy. He got hit by the "best friend test" about a year ago. Around the time Miriam found out we were dating. He says he was cheated because he didn't have any time to study and it was more like a pop quiz than a test. He passed, but he doesn't know that. Miriam loves to mess with people, that's why she hasn't told Gabe that he has earned her approval. "So, do you need something?" I said "Or are you back to casually interrupting our dates like you did a year ago?" I stared at her and put on the "Don't you dare say the second one" face. She looked unfazed, as usual. "Girly, don't worry." She said and put her arm around my neck. "I do need to talk to you about something actually." I groaned. Probably just another rant about that princess from Ireland she has a crush on again. "Y'know, Gabe and I were in the middle of something." I responded a little irritated. "Ohhh." She started. "Like what?" She wiggled her eyebrows and her smirk grew wider. I turned an impossible shade of red. "Nothing like that!" I quickly clarified. She laughed. Of course she laughed. That's just like her. Gabe walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "I need to go anyway, my shift starts soon." He leaned down and kissed my lips softly, sweetly. I kissed him back. After a few seconds, he pulled away. "I love you, Kim." "I love you, too." I said back. "I'll see you tonight!" That was the last thing he said before he was out the window. I sighed. "Now. What did you want?" I asked Miriam, who was behind me.

           Lots of ranting later....

"So, you're telling me, that the heir to the irish throne showed up at your door and asked you out?" I said, emphasizing my disbelief. Miriam opened her mouth to respond. "At 2 in the morning?" My voice was slowly rising in volume. She went to speak again. "While your parents were away at the Prince of Spain's wedding?" I finally finished. Miriam looked irritated at the constant interruptions. No matter, she'll get over it. My voice had grown loud enough for Chelsea to frantically knock on my door. "Your highness?" I heard her say through the wall. "I-Is everything okay in there?" I felt bad. Chelsea has been there for me since I turned 13. She was hired as a servant of the castle for work experience. She is currently studying politics at Gingerton University. My parents are always busy running the kingdom, so when I first became a teenager I went to her for advice. I stood up and walked over to the door with enthusiasm in my steps. I opened it with a smile. "Hey Chelsea." She looked a little stressed. "We're fine." "Is this about Princess Annette again?" She said, tilting her head. "Yes." I sighed. "Wanna come in?" Her face shifted from timid and worried to confident and mischievous. "Is that even a question?" Chelsea walked straight in and plopped down in her usual spot. "What happened now, Miriam?"  Miriam began to tell her entire story over again. We slowly settled into our normal routine. I smiled.
