Sure enough, the robots were still managing the orders and as they zoomed past her, she noticed that a few had a weird symbol painted on them. After a few minutes of searching, she found what she was looking for: a computer terminal tucked away in a corner.
She quickly got to work, downloading the source code for the robot software. She soon realized that the malicious virus she had been reading about was embedded inside the software. After a few more hours of work, she was able to clean the virus out and fix the code, undoing the programmer’s malicious work.
Jane was relieved to know that she had stopped the virus, but the robot’s strange behavior still baffled her. She continued to investigate until she eventually found a long-forgotten message from the programmer hidden in the code. It said that he had specialized the robots for certain tasks, specifically designed for stealth and efficiency. He had also programmed the robots to react more human-like to certain situations.
Jane had solved the mystery and stopped the virus, but she couldn’t quite shake the feeling that something far more sinister was behind it all. No matter how hard she searched, she couldn’t find the culprit behind this malicious act. She could only hope that one day she would discover who it was and bring them to justice.
