(Kaneki x Reader)

Chapter 2 (Getting together)

'How does he know my name?'

"U-Um... H-H-Hi..." You spoke, trying to know who this 'Kaneki' person is. Kaneki giggled. "How do I know your name was because touka-chan was talking about you being a new staff here." Now you understand. You glared at her. She laughed. "What?" You sighed. 'Give me a break here, for a sec I thought he was a stalker.' 

The next day when you walk in Anteiku, you saw the same person yesterday, except he was wearing the same clothing that Koma is wearing. "Um... is Kaneki working here?" Yoshimura came in. "Ah (F/N), you're here. And yes, he'll be working for a few weeks." You were still confused. 'Did he use to work here or what?' You got upstairs to change your work outfit and ready for today's job to be early finish. As you were walking down the steps and into the door, you could tell Kaneki was looking at you and slightly blushed on his cheeks and looked away. "Is something wrong, Kaneki?" Touka said. "No, nothing." 

A few hours passed by and you were giving the visitor some coffee. "Ahh thanks." The visitor said. You nodded your head and went back. The bell ring and another visitor came in. "Yōkoso!" Heard by Yoshimura. Then, a guy with a grey suit came in, kinda bald, but half of his middle hair wasn't. 'Who is he? He looks so familiar.' The next person came in. He was wearing a white shirt with blue suspender buttons and has so many red clips on his bangs. Although you could tell from afar, his neck has stitches going straight down and onto his arms. He sat right next to the guy who was with the grey suit. 'Hm, must be his friend.' You went walking towards them, but Yoshimura stopped you. "What's wrong Yoshimura?" You whispered. 

"I'll take their orders." Yoshimura whisper back and went walking away towards their table. 'Did something happen?' Touka went to stop by and look. She put her hand on your should and whisper, "They're from the CCG." You froze. You wonder why was the CCG people here? To investigate our secret hideout? To find out if we're really ghouls? Or who knows what will happen next. 

After Yoshimura came back, he came and look at you. "(F/N), can you go and make the 2 coffees with Kanten?" "But that means they'll have to wait hours." He put his hand on your right shoulder. "It's ok, it only takes a few mins (Let's just say that) and I've already told them. They have patience you know?" You nodded. 

You went to the coffee maker and added 2 coffees. When the coffees were done finishing, you grab 2 coffee mugs, poured them in and headed towards the CCG people. 'Ok I must be careful not to make any mistakes here or else I'll be killed by them.' You place them on the table. "Thank you." The guy with the suit said. He took a sip and his face was surprised. "This coffee is amazing!" You laugh softly. "Heh, thanks." You went to go back and made Kanten. (Just to let you know, kanten is some type of jello :3) A few mins has pass and you open up the the fridge and saw that it was ready. You took it and headed the table and place it. "Here's your dessert 'sir". The guy with stitches took it and ate it. "Wow, this taste  great! How did you do it?" You giggled. "Well simple. Just follow the ingredients." "Cool, you're really amazing!" You blushed on his comment. On the unknown side that you can't see, Kaneki face was anger and he felt jealous inside of him. 

The day passed and it was coming to an end. "(F/N) your shift here is done." Yoshimura reminded you. "Ahh ok thanks!"  You swiftly went upstairs and change your outfit and came back down the steps. You saw Kaneki was about to leave too. "Hey, um, want me to drop you off at your place (F/N)?" Kaneki said. "Yeah sure, since I don't live that far away." Your house was only 20 mins away from Anteiku place. Although  it wasn't that far, you wanted to know if Kaneki lives around here too. You wanted to ask, but that'll be out of the blue and awkward to ask. You and Kaneki headed out the door. "Ok, see ya tomorrow!" You said, waving. "Yeah and don't forget your shift starts early too!" Koma yelled slightly, not try to disturbed any neighbors. You nodded and went outside the steps. 

You and Kaneki were just walking down the sidewalks just staying silent. You didn't want it to be to silent since you just met him few days ago and be to awkward around him. "Um... So, how was Anteiku, Kaneki?" You tried to not say it weird, but failed. "Hm, well it was fun." He replied. "Were you the one who use to work there?" Kaneki look back and nodded. You made your mouth an 'o'. It was still an awkward silent when Kaneki spoke to not make it too silent. "Well, since I just knew you and your new, would you mind if", he scratches the back of his neck, "if you want to hang out at the park tomorrow if you leave your shift early since we don't want to go out too dark?"  You made your head process just a while and your head had an answer. 

"Sure, I'll just ask Yoshimura if I can go out early since I do have a early shift tomorrow morning." You smiled. Kaneki smiled back. "Great! Then I'll just wait for you at the park." "Uh, which park?" Kaneki giggled and flick your head. "Owie! What was that for?!" "You dummy, the park is close to Anteiku place." You made your head think again and you found it. "Oh that one..." You laughed and smiled. "Sorry, my mind wasn't thinking right." He giggled again and smiled. "Nah it's ok."

After you headed towards your house, you stop. "Why'd you stop?" Kaneki said. "This is my house." He made a 'o' on his mouth. "Well see ya tomorrow then, Kaneki-kun~" You waved goodbye and he did the same, while walking away. You went inside and think if you're hungry. 'Nah, I'll just skip it since I ate some at Anteiku place'. You went to your room and closed the door. You fell on top of your bed and smiled on the ceiling. 'I hope its gonna be fun at the park tomorrow'. And then you fell right to sleep.
