chapter: What's What's going on ?

POV Rose

I woke up from my bed, I am a bit dizzy. What's going on? Why am I on my bed? Did I just pass out?
I feel so weak. My memory is also blurry. I couldn't remember how I got to bed.

I went to the kitchen to make some breakfast. A message popped on my phone. I just ignored the notification and didn't even bother to check who sent it. Am sure it's no one important.

As I cooking breakfast, the messages kept on coming. I got irritated by the notification sound. I grabbed the phone to cheak who the hell is texting me.

My heart dropped for a second, my hand started shaking. How could this be possible?

This is  a dream.  Stop dreaming , stop dreaming ,
STOP.

It was Alan texting. It didn't bother reading the message. Part of me said it has to be a prank but the other part truly believed it has to be him.

I got shocked when I saw the date. It was, no it is 8th, March 2014. How ?

Pov Joe

29th May 2014. Around 10:56 pm

"Rose are you there" I  have been knocking the door for 20 minutes and calling out her name. I know she is inside
I just want to speak to her. She and him were very close. I can't imagine the pain she is going through. Maybe I should come back in the morning.

POV Rose

How? I have no time to think , let's first go and meet with Alan. I called the taxi and went to Alan's home.

I rang the doorbell, much to my suprise, he actually opened the door. I felt like hugging me a d crying but there was something wrong with him. He felt disgusted by looking at me.

He said "what do you want?" With a disgusted look on his face.

" Did you read the messages I sent

"No I came to see you" , then he said "Will you do me a favor"

"Yes, I will do anything for ........."

"Get lost" and he slammed the door.

I don't know what is going on. Why is he angry at me? I went back home, sat on the sofa. My head was hurting. How I am in this time ? What messages was he talking about? I went to check on the messages. It said

"It's over Rose. Let's break up. You can't fool me anymore"

What? What did I do ? I must go a d find Joe, he is the only one who can explain to me what's going on. But talking him is going to be difficult since he is on scientific research he won't have time. But let's try.

I called Joe, he picked up

"Hello, Rose. What do you want ? "

"I need to talk to you"

"About what?"

"Alan"

" you can't fool him anymore" (with an angry tone)

" please please I need to talk to you"

"Okay fine, meet me at central cafe tonight"

8th March 8:30pm (at the cafe)

Joe: so what do you want?

Rose: I want to know what's going on with me and Alan?

Joe: what do you to know. After doing everything you want  me to give an explanation.

Rose: calm down. Just tell me what happened?

Joe: He found out you cheated on him yesterday

Rose: No no. This can't be right. 8th March it is the day, we first kissed each other. Something is wrong

Joe: what do you mean?

Rose: 2 months from now, Alan will die in an accident

Joe: how do you know that ?

Rose: because I have been there

Joe: so you saying you time travelled to the past

Rose: Yes but no, for some reason things have changed without me doing anything And that doesn't happen in time travel

Joe: Shit! Wait..... wait... a minute.

He picked up his phone, called Rose. My phone rang he told me to not pick it up and then Rose picked up and said "What Joe, what do you want?"

Joe shouted in excitement, and said to me "Rose, you are in an alternate universe"

He started explaining "Rose look. This universe you are now in is not yours but different. It is made up of possibilities. For instance.  You and Alan are in love, in other universe you might love somebody else or you love Alan and cheat him or Alan cheats on you etc. The possibilities are endless and each make a different dimension (Alternate universe)
So you are in one of them. In your universe Alan will die on May 8 but in ours that might not even happen"
