"Artemis, we gotta get going, munchkin!" Arthur Greyback yells from the open front door of his family's immaculate home. The large man holding a box full of his daughter's as he calls " A Cacophony of Shit". From a Black Noir Funko Pop figurine to an old hair bonnet that is two sizes too small for even Artemis' small skull.

The tech titan looks at his three children zipping around the second floor, popping from place to place using Artemis' powers. When his oldest daughter was born he and his wife learned that due to a genetic mutation their daughter along with any other children they would have had a 90% chance of having a congenital heart defect that not even the best medicine available at the time could fix. As such a scientist at Vought International came to them and came to them with a deal, they'd give any children they had a serum called Compound V that would hopefully help counteract any effects from any issues the children would have. They would be paid per child a hefty sum and in return hopefully their children would develop extraordinary gifts that could be used by Vought to save the world.

Being young and afraid they agreed and at two days old Aurora Greyback was injected with Compound V, three years later she develops the ability to convert sound into light and being able to project various types of light. That same year their second daughter Artemis was born who at a week old and recently injected with Compound V could make portals and manipulate dimensional energy, going from her mother's arms to her tiny crib after seemingly getting tired of her parents hovering over her. She unfortunately did still develop a heart defect, though it was noted that it should resolve itself by the time she was around 22 due to her superhuman biology. Lastly two years after Artemis came their final child Astelle who developed powers at age five during her first day of Kindergarten, blasting a spider with a rainbow colored burst of light when she noticed it crawling up a wall, they were promptly called and she was sent home...

Neither he nor his wife Simone thought it was good or productive to lie to their children about where their powers came from. They'd told the three of them on Aurora's 13th birthday, both explained their reasoning and told their children to keep it a secret which they all agreed to...simply because they really didn't care. A point of which their grandmother Ophelia chalked it up to them simply being children, to which Artemis simply replied with "Eeh!" before popping off into the kitchen to warm up a Hot Pocket.

Over the years his children befriended two fellow supes, Reina who'd Artemis met one day in Preschool when the poor girl accidentally disintegrated her cot during nap time and Artemis insisted, she come over for ants on a log that same day. As well as Mason, a boy who was the same age as Aurora who can absorb and manipulate energy which unfortunately gravely injured a man who'd frightened him. The boy was hidden away for a few months by the Greybacks at the request of his mother Miranda out of fear of what she'd heard about places for "dangerous" supes. As such he'd spent that summer with the girls in Hawaii with his mother and father, gaining a close relationship with the family.

Fast forward to today now Reina is attending GodU with Artemis, both girls currently shuffling around with large fluffy blankets in their slim arms. Mason right behind them carrying Artemis' mini fridge, a grin on his face as Artemis' small frame being engulfed by a blanket that was way too big for her, squeaking noises leaving her lips as she tries not to trip.

"Don't fall Artie, we will laugh at you!" Simone shouts from the kitchen, the woman packing lunches for them all. The woman towering the croissant bread with thinly sliced corned beef and pepper jack cheese to feed the little pack of supes. Kurt Jaeger rummaging through the pantry, looking for the mineral water he'd hidden from his wife, the man's tanned hands covered in spicy cheeto dust.

"Do you have something to contribute today besides eating my children's snacks Kurt?" Simone says, brown eyes sparkling as he shakes his head "No." His wife Amelia then makes her way into the kitchen, her blonde hair falling in her face, the woman blowing it out of her face until she's handed a hair tie by Simone.
